Osho Media International use Dodgy Distributor

Sannyasnews was very surprised to hear of these strange goings-on. How can one join forces with a distributor who promoted a book that badly defamed Osho? Maybe our bloggers have an answer?

Osho Media International has selected “Publishers Group West” to distribute their (edited) reprinted books, which are being printed in China. This is their first major expansion in the publishing market since 2008.

“Publishers Group West” is the same distributor that advertises and promotes that most anti-Osho book, “The Rajneesh Chronicles: The True Story of the Cult that Sought to Kill Two Thirds of the Human Race.” Osho’s picture is on the cover of this book.

    Description:

The Rajneesh Chronicles is a collection of in-depth investigative and analytical articles published in Oregon Magazine covering the establishment of the city of Rajneeshpuram in Central Oregon in mid-1981 to its dramatic disintegration at the end of 1985. While most press treated the Rajneeshees’ antics as a humorous sideshow typified by Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh’s dozens of Rolls-Royces, editor in chief Win McCormack and other of the magazine’s writers systematically exposed the full range of the cult’s depraved behavior, including its involvement in prostitution and international drug smuggling, sexual exploitation of children, abuse of homeless people imported into Rajneeshpuram to register as voters, and the use of brainwashing techniques bordering on torture. The tale of the Rajneeshees has become an amorphous legend few inside or outside of Oregon understand. The Rajneesh Chronicles fully illuminates the shocking reality behind that legend.

The same distribution group will also distribute 13 compilation titels of Osho, published by inhouse Osho Media International.

This means..the ashram publishing house known as “Rebel” has taken a new form at Resort as OMI.

Rebel books were blessed by Osho. Hard bound, complete discourses at Cost price. Distributors retailers were free to add their profit margin.

The new development also means that OFI has not got the good deal from the other high street publishing houses, who have their own distribution net work.

On one hand it’s an indicative of greed on both sides. Publishers will sell it whatever sells; OFI would get the books published from wherever the deal is better.

But on the other hand, it’s actually good or may be an indicative of eradication of negative past. People are now realizing the potential and contributions of the man. It will be a smack for that author “Win McCormack” once readers realize that the same publisher now turned positive and publishing Osho’s books.

Gumpy, it is the smack other way around.
Osho´s compilations are published first. Ass licker Win Mccmork book is due to be released in September 2010.
Any way, osho´s books are in the western book shops for decades. It has not much changed the public perception, if it was changed, the sannyasins have played a active and living role in this regard.
The sannyasins have shown grace and dignity.Their laughter and easiness was infatuating.

Probably hard to distribute Osho books in US. So a deal with Publishers Group West is a good idea. They have already taken on one “Osho book”
    so they know Osho sells.

Would American friends like to tell us if Osho books are currently available in ordinary US bookstores?

Shantam Prem wrote “Any way, osho´s books are in the western book shops for decades.”

Actually they are not widely available in England now. A year ago I visited Borders, a big book shop in London suburbs, which had a large “Mind Body and Spirit” section. No Osho book there. Lies by the BBC or Christopher Hitchens or the Observer newspaper really have an effect, because the white upper middle class people in the UK publishing industry

  24. Lokesh says:

Newton’s laws of motion give us a complete description of the behavior moving objects at low speeds. The laws are different at speeds reached by the particles at SLAC.

Einstein’s Special Theory of Relativity describes the motion of particles moving at close to the speed of light. In fact, it gives the correct laws of motion for any particle. This doesn’t mean Newton was wrong, his equations are contained within the relativistic equations. Newton’s “laws” provide a very good approximate form, valid when v is much less than c. For particles moving at slow speeds (very much less than the speed of light), the differences between Einstein’s laws of motion and those derived by Newton are tiny. That’s why relativity doesn’t play a large role in everyday life. Einstein’s theory supersedes Newton’s, but Newton’s theory provides a very good approximation for objects moving at everyday speeds.

Einstein’s theory is now very well established as the correct description of motion of relativistic objects, that is those traveling at a significant fraction of the speed of light.

Because most of us have little experience with objects moving at speeds near the speed of light, Einstein’s predictions may seem strange. However, many years of high energy physics experiments have thoroughly tested Einstein’s theory and shown that it fits all results to date.
    Theoretical Basis for Special Relativity

Einstein’s theory of special relativity results from two statements — the two basic postulates of special relativity:

    1. The speed of light is the same for all observers, no matter what their relative speeds.
    2. The laws of physics are the same in any inertial (that is, non-accelerated) frame of reference. This means that the laws of physics observed by a hypothetical observer traveling with a relativistic particle must be the same as those observed by an observer who is stationary in the laboratory.

Given these two statements, Einstein showed how definitions of momentum and energy must be refined and how quantities such as length and time must change from one observer to another in order to get consistent results for physical quantities such as particle half-life. To decide whether his postulates are a correct theory of nature, physicists test whether the predictions of Einstein’s theory match observations. Indeed many such tests have been made — and the answers Einstein gave are right every time!
The Speed of Light is the same for all observers.

The first postulate — the speed of light will be seen to be the same relative to any observer, independent of the motion of the observer — is the crucial idea that led Einstein to formulate his theory. It means we can define a quantity c, the speed of light, which is a fundamental constant of nature.

Note that this is quite different from the motion of ordinary, massive objects. If I am driving down the freeway at 50 miles per hour relative to the road, a car traveling in the same direction at 55 mph has a speed of only 5 mph relative to me, while a car coming in the opposite direction at 55 mph approaches me at a rate of 105 mph. Their speed relative to me depends on my motion as well as on theirs.
Physics is the same for all inertial observers.

This second postulate is really a basic though unspoken assumption in all of science — the idea that we can formulate rules of nature which do not depend on our particular observing situation. This does not mean that things behave in the same way on the earth and in space, e.g. an observer at the surface of the earth is affected by the earth’s gravity, but it does mean that the effect of a force on an object is the same independent of what causes the force and also of where the object is or what its speed is.

Einstein developed a theory of motion that could consistently contain both the same speed of light for any observer and the familiar addition of velocities described above for slow-moving objects. This is called the special theory of relativity, since it deals with the relative motions of objects.

Note that Einstein’s General Theory of Relativity is a separate theory about a very different topic — the effects of gravity.
    Relativistic Definitions

Physicists call particles with v/c comparable to 1 “relativistic” particles. Particles with v/c << 1 (very much less than one) are “non-relativistic.” At SLAC, we are almost always dealing with relativistic particles. Below we catalogue some essential differences between the relativistic quantities the more familiar non-relativistic or low-speed approximate definitions and behaviors.
    Gamma(Gamma Symbol)

The measurable effects of relativity are based on gamma. Gamma depends only on the speed of a particle and is always larger than 1. By definition:
Equation relating speed of light, speed of object and constant, gamma c is the speed of light
v is the speed of the object in question

For example, when an electron has traveled ten feet along the accelerator it has a speed of 0.99c, and the value of gamma at that speed is 7.09. When the electron reaches the end of the linac, its speed is 0.99999999995c where gamma equals 100,000.

What do these gamma values tell us about the relativistic effects detected at SLAC? Notice that when the speed of the object is very much less than the speed of light (v << c), gamma is approximately equal to 1. This is a non-relativistic situation (Newtonian).
    Momentum

For non-relativistic objects Newton defined momentum, given the symbol p, as the product of mass and velocity — p = m v. When speed becomes relativistic, we have to modify this definition — p = gamma (mv)

Notice that this equation tells you that for any particle with a non-zero mass, the momentum gets larger and larger as the speed gets closer to the speed of light. Such a particle would have infinite momentum if it could reach the speed of light. Since it would take an infinite amount of force (or a finite force acting over an infinite amount of time) to accelerate a particle to infinite momentum, we are forced to conclude that a massive particle always travels at speeds less than the speed of light.

Some text books will introduce the definition m0 for the mass of an object at rest, calling this the “rest mass” and define the quantity (M = gamma m0) as the mass of the moving object. This makes Newton’s definition of momentum still true provided you choose the correct mass. In particle physics, when we talk about mass we always mean mass of an object at rest and we write it as m and keep the factor of gamma explicit in the equations.
    Energy

Probably the most famous scientific equation of all time, first derived by Einstein is the relationship E = mc2.

This tells us the energy corresponding to a mass m at rest. What this means is that when mass disappears, for example in a nuclear fission process, this amount of energy must appear in some other form. It also tells us the total energy of a particle of mass m sitting at rest.

Einstein also showed that the correct relativistic expression for the energy of a particle of mass m with momentum p is E2 = m2c4 + p2c2. This is a key equation for any real particle, giving the relationship between its energy (E), momentum ( p), and its rest mass (m).

If we substitute the equation for p into the equation for E above, with a little algebra, we get E = gamma mc2, so energy is gamma times rest energy. (Notice again that if we call the quantity M =gamma m the mass of the particle then E = Mc2 applies for any particle, but remember, particle physicists don’t do that.)

Let’s do a calculation. The rest energy of an electron is 0.511 MeV. As we saw earlier, when an electron has gone about 10 feet along the SLAC linac, it has a speed of 0.99c and a gamma of 7.09. Therefore, using the equation E = gamma x the rest energy, we can see that the electron’s energy after ten feet of travel is 7.09 x 0.511 MeV = 3.62 MeV. At the end of the linac, where gamma = 100,000, the energy of the electron is 100,000 x 0.511 MeV = 51.1 GeV.

The energy E is the total energy of a freely moving particle. We can define it to be the rest energy plus kinetic energy (E = KE + mc2) which then defines a relativistic form for kinetic energy. Just as the equation for momentum has to be altered, so does the low-speed equation for kinetic energy (KE = (1/2)mv2). Let’s make a guess based on what we saw for momentum and energy and say that relativistically KE = gamma(1/2)mv2. A good guess, perhaps, but it’s wrong.

Now here is an exercise for the interested reader. Calculate the quantity KE = E – mc2 for the case of v very much smaller than c, and show that it is the usual expression for kinetic energy (1/2 mv2) plus corrections that are proportional to (v/c)2 and higher powers of (v/c). The complicated result of this exercise points out why it is not useful to separate the energy of a relativistic particle into a sum of two terms, so when particle physicists say “the energy of a moving particle” they mean the total energy, not the kinetic energy.

Another interesting fact about the expression that relates E and p above (E2 = m2c4 + p2c2), is that it is also true for the case where a particle has no mass (m=0). In this case, the particle always travels at a speed c, the speed of light. You can regard this equation as a definition of momentum for such a mass-less particle. Photons have kinetic energy and momentum, but no mass!

In fact Einstein’s relationship tells us more, it says Energy and mass are interchangeable. Or, better said, rest mass is just one form of energy. For a compound object, the mass of the composite is not just the sum of the masses of the constituents but the sum of their energies, including kinetic, potential, and mass energy. The equation E=mc2 shows how to convert between energy units and mass units. Even a small mass corresponds to a significant amount of energy.

    * In the case of an atomic explosion, mass energy is released as kinetic energy of the resulting material, which has slightly less mass than the original material.
    * In any particle decay process, some of the initial mass energy becomes kinetic energy of the products.

Even in chemical processes there are tiny changes in mass which correspond to the energy released or absorbed in a process. When chemists talk about conservation of mass, they mean that the sum of the masses of the atoms involved does not change. However, the masses of molecules are slightly smaller than the sum of the masses of the atoms they contain (which is why molecules do not just fall apart into atoms). If we look at the actual molecular masses, we find tiny mass changes do occur in any chemical reaction.

At SLAC, and in any particle physics facility, we also see the reverse effect — energy producing new matter. In the presence of charged particles a photon (which only has kinetic energy) can change into a massive particle and its matching massive antiparticle. The extra charged particle has to be there to absorb a little energy and more momentum, otherwise such a process could not conserve both energy and momentum. This process is one more confirmation of Einstein’s special theory of relativity. It also is the process by which antimatter (for example the positrons accelerated at SLAC) is produced.
Units of Mass, Energy, and Momentum

Instead of using kilograms to measure mass, physicists use a unit of energy — the electron volt. It is the energy gained by one electron when it moves through a potential difference of one volt. By definition, one electron volt (eV) is equivalent to 1.6 x 10-19 joules.

Lets look at an example of how this energy unit works. The rest mass of an electron is 9.11 x 10-31 kg. Using E = mc2 and a calculator we get:

    E = 9.11 x 10-31 kg x (3 x 108 m/s)2 = 8.199 x 10-14 joules

This gives us the energy equivalent of one electron. So, whether we say we have 9.11 x 10-31 kg or 8.199 x 10-14 joules, we really talking about the same thing — an electron. Physicists go one stage further and convert the joules to electron volts. This gives the mass of an electron as 0.511 MeV (about half a million eV).

So if you ask a high energy physicist what the mass of an electron is, you’ll be told the answer in units of energy. You can blame Einstein for that!

Eagle-eyed readers will notice that if you solve E=mc2 for m, you get m=E/c2, so the unit of energy should be eV/c2. What happened to the c2? It’s very simple, particle physicists choose units of length so that the speed of light = 1! How can we do that? Quite easily, as long as everyone understands the system. All we have to do is use a conversion factor to get back the “real” (i.e. everyday) units, if we want them.

Not only are mass and energy measured in eV, so is momentum. It makes life so much easier than dividing by c2 or c all the time.

There is more information available on units in relativistic physics.
    Peculiar Relativistic Effects
    Length Contraction and Time Dilation

One of the strangest parts of special relativity is the conclusion that two observers who are moving relative to one another, will get different measurements of the length of a particular object or the time that passes between two events.

Consider two observers, each in a space-ship laboratory containing clocks and meter sticks. The space ships are moving relative to each other at a speed close to the speed of light. Using Einstein’s theory:

    * Each observer will see the meter stick of the other as shorter than their own, by the same factor gamma (gamma- defined above). This is called length contraction.
    * Each observer will see the clocks in the other laboratory as ticking more slowly than the clocks in his/her own, by a factor gamma. This is called time dilation.

In particle accelerators, particles are moving very close to the speed of light where the length and time effects are large. This has allowed us to clearly verify that length contraction and time dilation do occur.
    Time Dilation for Particles

Particle processes have an intrinsic clock that determines the half-life of a decay process. However, the rate at which the clock ticks in a moving frame, as observed by a static observer, is slower than the rate of a static clock. Therefore, the half-life of a moving particles appears, to the static observer, to be increased by the factor gamma.

For example, let’s look at a particle sometimes created at SLAC known as a tau. In the frame of reference where the tau particle is at rest, its lifetime is known to be approximately 3.05 x 10-13 s. To calculate how far it travels before decaying, we could try to use the familiar equation distance equals speed times time. It travels so close to the speed of light that we can use c = 3×108 m/sec for the speed of the particle. (As we will see below, the speed of light in a vacuum is the highest speed attainable.) If you do the calculation you find the distance traveled should be 9.15 x 10-5 meters.

    d = v t

    d = (3 x 108 m/sec)( 3.05 x 10-13 s) = 9.15 x 10-5 m

Here comes the weird part – we measure the tau particle to travel further than this!

Pause to think about that for a moment. This result is totally contradictory to everyday experience. If you are not puzzled by it, either you already know all about relativity or you have not been reading carefully.

What is the resolution of this apparent paradox? The answer lies in time dilation. In our laboratory, the tau particle is moving. The decay time of the tau can be seen as a moving clock. According to relativity, moving clocks tick more slowly than static clocks.

We use this fact to multiply the time of travel in the taus moving frame by gamma, this gives the time that we will measure. Then this time times c, the approximate speed of the tau, will give us the distance we expect a high energy tau to travel.

What is gamma in this case? It depends on the tau’s energy. A typical SLAC tau particle has a gamma = 20. Therefore, we detect the tau to decay in an average distance of 20 x (9.15 x 10-5 m) = 1.8 x 10-3 m or approximately 1.8 millimeters. This is 20 times further than we expect it to go if we use classical rather than relativistic physics. (Of course, we actually observe a spread of decay times according to the exponential decay law and a corresponding spread of distances. In fact, we use the measured distribution of distances to find the tau half-life.)

Observations particles with a variety of velocities have shown that time dilation is a real effect. In fact the only reason cosmic ray muons ever reach the surface of the earth before decaying is the time dilation effect.
    Length Contraction

Instead of analyzing the motion of the tau from our frame of reference, we could ask what the tau would see in its reference frame. Its half-life in its reference frame is 3.05 x 10-13 s. This does not change. The tau goes nowhere in this frame.

How far would an observer, sitting in the tau rest frame, see an observer in our laboratory frame move while the tau lives?

We just calculated that the tau would travel 1.8 mm in our frame of reference. Surely we would expect the observer in the tau frame to see us move the same distance relative to the tau particle. Not so says the tau-frame observer — you only moved 1.8 mm/gamma = 0.09 mm relative to me. This is length contraction.

How long did the tau particle live according to the observer in the tau frame? We can rearrange d = v x t to read t = d/v. Here we use the same speed, Because the speed of the observer in the lab relative to the tau is just equal to (but in the opposite direction) of the speed of the tau relative to the observer in the lab, so we can use the same speed. So time = 0.09 x 10-3 m/(3 x 108)m/sec = 3.0 x 10-13 sec. This is the half-life of the tau as seen in its rest frame, just as it should be!

A new book has hit the shelves in China, and is causing controversy. “The China Model” (中国模式), a collection of essays about China’s unique development model, is one of many new books that is part of an effort to put forth a “China model”, a model of development that is in opposition to the much maligned “Washington Consensus”. The Economist notes that the while Chinese officials are keen to downplay talk of the China Model, people peddling books aren’t quite as humble:

(The Chinese publishing industry)….in recent months has been cashing in on an upsurge of debate in China about the notion of a China model…. In November a prominent Party-run publisher produced a 630-page tome titled “China Model: A New Development Model from the Sixty Years of the People’s Republic”. In January came the more modest “China Model: Experiences and Difficulties”. Another China-model book was launched in April and debated at an expo-related forum in Shanghai. Its enthusiastic authors include Zhao Qizheng, a former top Party propaganda official, and John Naisbitt, an American futurologist.

The China Media Project notes that:

In his own essay for the collection, Pan Wei writes of the China Model as a massive and glorious creature, hearkening back to ancient Chinese mythology: “The scale of the China System (中华体制) is massive, and could perhaps be called the ‘Kunpeng System’ [after the vast bird of Chinese legend]. Its head is people-based politics, its state system (社稷体制) is the body, and the national economy (国民经济) is its wings . . .”

There’s probably little doubt that as the American economy stagnates and as the EU faces serious crises among its member states, more developing countries will look towards China’s experience as a practical way forward. However, when one hears the list of ingredients that make up the China Model (a relatively effective authoritarian regime, pragmatism over ideology, good investment in infrastructure, a united ruling party), one crucial ingredient often seems missing: the role of the migrant worker.

In the 1980’s China had little choice but to make good use of its comparative advantage, as any economist might tell you. This meant using its relatively “cheap labour” as a competitive tool. China, of course, had cheap labour in abundance. There was virtually no family planning in the Mao Era, and this created a large population, which went from 540 million in 1949 to almost one billion by the start of reform and opening in the late 1970’s. Also under Mao, the rigid planned economy tied hundreds of millions of farmers to rural land. This meant that as the “Reform & Opening” got under way, China’s policymakers could use its massively poor rural population to its advantage.

Deng Xiaoping said that it was ok for some people to get rich first (让一部分人先富起来). In other words, some entrepreneurs and those with connections could start private business, employee many migrant workers, and contribute to China’s prosperity.

As understandable or inevitable as this strategy might have been, one would think that, over time, the government would work to reduce the divide between legally-defined “rural” people and “urban” people, as indicated on their hukou. Of course, there have been some measures taken over the years to relax the hukou system, most notably, the restrictions of internal migration have been lifted. Nonetheless, it seems almost undeniable that the “China model” of growth is to some extent based on the institutional exploitation of a large demographic of people – migrant workers. Migrant workers have made a huge contribution to China’s development and rising prosperity, but have often not seen reciprocal rewards. During the last thirty years of “Reform & Opening”, migrant workers in China have worked hard, back-breaking, and dangerous jobs without strong union support, proper health and safety conditions, and often without a proper contract.

One wonders, only semi-sarcastically, whether elite policymakers in developing countries throughout Africa and Latin America might be similarly encouraged to disenfranchise and exploit large segments of their own population as a means of development. Indeed, as the book Chinese Investments in Africa: A Labour Perspective points out, as Chinese companies invest in Africa and African governments study the China model, there is an increase in casual, non-contractual labour, widespread violations of workers rights, and a hostile attitude towards unions. In other words, might the “China Model’s” view of workers be a crucial ingredient that is overlooked by its vociferous proponents but not by those who are copying it?

In general, it’s no wonder that Chinese government officials− who are keenly aware of all the systemic and governance challenges China faces− are rather hesitant to speak of the “Chinese model”, and that the phenomenon is more confined to academia and the publishing industry. Although China has taken a unique road to development and has achieved a lot, the deficiencies in the model also ensure that many officials will probably be reluctant to confidently export the model too soon.

Alok John, you say…I would have thought some presence in bookshops is a good idea.

I’m surprised by a statement coming from one such as yourself, who should have learnt by now that Osho’s presence can be felt and experienced anywhere because the master’s presence is universal. Open your heart, swami!

  30. Satya Deva says:

    It’s all relative though, surely?

  31. Lokesh says:

Yes, yes, by golly, I do belive you’re right, but then again it is all relative,,, Take Uncle Ram for instance….

  32. prem martyn says:

maybe they should call it dribllingspunkstainnews for the wonderful relief it gives to discussions about osho’s pubic hairs and the significant legacy they have on our lives…….

Borders Books is a huge chain started in the U.S.A. They’ve managed to snuff out most small independent book stores here, except for the larger independents located near universities that cater to the students with discounted used text books, most of the rest, which were once as numerous as food carts are gone… Thanks to “the new world order” as told by President George Bush Sr. 1990.

That has to be one of the most arrogant statements made by an Indian, never mind a “sannyasin”, that I’ve heard since Sheela’s mouthing off during the ranch days!! Not only arrogant but contradictory… Capitalism and Love are polar opposites, Another example of wasted meditation by a chooch. he has been proven right so far, BUT he didn’t take into account humans’ capacity for endless greed(Chinese include). A bit arrogant of him.

subject-Clash of interests, an urgent matter for your notice

    Dear Sir/Madam,
Through http://www.sannyasnews.com i came across the strange business practice of yours.
on one side, you are distributing more than 19 titles of Osho, one of the foremost mystic and controversial spiritual master of our time.
In the same way, you have also taken the assignment to distribute a yellow journalism book of Mr. Win McCormack titled “The Rajneesh Chronicles
The True Story of the Cult that Unleashed the First Act of Bio terrorism on U.S. Soil.
This bloody title suggest as if weapons of mass destruction which Bush, Blair team could not find were found hidden in the garden of this Mr. McCormack.

Yes.. it is a right of everybody to write and publish his thoughts and beliefs, yet there are some ethical norms and convictions.
I wish to remind your management and staff that Osho is the title bestowed upon “Rajneesh” by His disciples, therefore keeping in mind the moral and ethical norms, you can decide yourself how Osho´s insights and trash in Rajneesh Chronicles fit together in your business philosophy.

    Thanks

    Yours Sincerely,
    Iqbal Singh

Capitalism and love are polar opposite..so what is compatible with Love.
May be the sex trade from Ukraine, Bulgaria, Armenia, Nepal, Bangladesh….

I think it was the compassion of the east that Osho took your kind of people in His shelter..because East knows not, how to reject. an dsame way it is the comassion of the founding fathers of USA, that even the rats like you will be taken care of in the universal health insurrance programme plus the food stamps..

  45. Swami Gyan Prakash says:

Look like Jayesh and Gang will even sell their mothers if they can for sake of money for their power games.
Now they sell Osho words and books to enemies who speak against Osho.Even no photograph of Osho on books now.And also editing words that the book printers do not like printed.
Jayesh and Amrito should just sell their mother and family in Canada aand England and leave our Master Osho. He is not for Sale.

  46. Swami Gyan Prakash says:

These Dirty criminal cheaters and 21 Baboons as Rajneesh says are cheating sannyasins of the world.

  47. Swami Gyan Prakash says:

THESE ARE OUR FRIENDS NOW !!!!

A society where people by the millions are isolated because their “karma” had them reincarnated as “untouchables”. Shantam Dog Brain Prem, you must be one of those…Untouchables!!!

  49. prem bubbie says:

And you call yourself a sannyasin…. Hey where’s sheela? Sheela must be Shantam Prem in Drag!!! Warped minds, twisted hearts, yeah right India’s got it all. weren’t they socialists until the mid 1990′s? What happened to Nehru’s India… The anti-american/capitalist, pro socialist/Soviet style of government? their greed got the better of them it seems…. you can only squeeze so many bribes from poor people, Rich capitalist on the other hand….. take your dickhead from out of your ass Shantam!!

    OSHO

    Nothought of the day

  53. Satya Deva says:

Shantam Prem, it might serve you, en route to ‘dropping your mind’, to drop your tendency towards sentimental bullshine.

As amply demonstrated by your ludicrous championing of India as a country where ‘the heart’ (and, presumably then, ‘love’) are in the ascendancy.

To the list of horrors regarded as ‘normal’ there, already mentioned by Bubbie et al, let’s add:
the second (or perhaps, third) -class citizen status of women, (including female circomcision),
the widespread corruption in public life, including at all levels of government (and not forgetting the police),
deeply-ingrained, ignorant, superstitious beliefs held by countless millions and fostered by the many stupid religions,
including sexual repression and its various poisonous offshoots, such as so-called ‘honour killings’,

And really, one could go on and on…

I strongly suggest, SP, that you ‘wipe the mote from your own eye’ and see through your very own veil that’s apparently blinding you before you start piously quoting Osho on the topic…

Otherwise, you’re just a sentimental fool, fit only for listening to those Hindi (?) songs you like to recommend here….

  54. swami jeevan ekin says:

There are going to be news in and against Osho so long as the last man breaths his last.

  55. Chinmaya says:

    Bubbie dear,

You live in India or in America ???

  56. shantam prem says:

    Satya Deva,
Most of the people have observed in the history that India is one of that part of the world which compresses all the history of mankind.
In India, all the centuries walk together. People are still living in stone ages and people have gone beyond the circle of life and death, not because of some Bribary to some God but because of their own effort and thirst.

SO one has to look from which angle the commentary is being given. Without seeing or understanding the context, one is smooth and deep only as the SKIN.
Just the other month, my article about the (dis)honur killings in India has taken the thread space.

And one thing, which is the fundamental of India´s growing clout on the world stage because Indians go on questioning their country and its values and ruling elite.
The self criticism is the fire in the heart for further evolution.
I hope the present generation of the west comes out from their dodgy superiority complex, the well fed generation of the cultured beggars, picking the stuff by bending on the knees and thinking it is their earning.
    Phui…..

And this Phuii.. is for those Indians too, who have copied the success story of the west but credit, they will give to their Rama And Krishna and other dieties.
The land can show its gratitude by building its first “Wall Street Temple”

  57. shantam prem says:

The Hindi songs of my recommendation are for Indian Sannyasins, the future leaders of the Osho movement, because the western sannyasins are in the process of Quit Sannyas.
Their numbers and influence is on a downward whirl.
It is pity, but it is like this.
Naked truths can be observed only without the colored glasses. For example, the Indian spiritual leaders get 10, 15 or 50 white people in their gathering and their balloon gets puffed, glasses become green, ” West is understanding us.”.
few will initiate 7, 8 people in London ; Tashkent or Amsterdam etc. and think in the terms of record numbers.

PS-When i mean future leaders of sannyas movement, it has nothing to do with rajneesh or Osho´s brother Osho..

  58. Swami Gyan Prakash says:

    Shantam Prem
Please do not put Swami Rajneesh and Osho brother in same place.
Swami Rajneesh is total different and is silent and came back after 17 years.
OSho broter is from power circle and is claiming to be brother of Osho.
Swami Rajneesh is not claiming anything.
Rajneesh says he is ” Dissolved into the Lotus Feet of his Master Osho ” and is very soft and loving sannyasin.
He is now giving all Free Osho Groups and Therapies and also ask no money for all his tour and camps.
Rajneesh is alone and like a Lion Roaring.
He has no gropu or organisation and no exploit anyone with any claim or anything.
You are stupid to talk about 2 people same time.

  59. shantam prem says:

    Swami Gyan Parkash Ji,
Today is your second day at sannyasnews.
You are i think, third and fourth name from the Osho Nursery of My brother Rajneesh, this uncle of yours say welcome.
So ask Rajneesh Bhai, he will tell you, ” Baron ke sath tamiz se baat kiya karte hain.” (with elders one speak with respect)

In your first post, you were abusing every body in the ashram. calling them baboons.
When rajneesh says in such a way, there is a right, an authority, when the chicknes around him roar, it becomes noisy.
So enjoy the medittaion and energy of Rajneesh Bhai. Take this into your guts, otherwise you will prove just a foot soldier of Dal Khalsa, Hindu Jagran Samiti or taliban.

  60. Swami Gyan Prakash says:

    So Shantam Bhai
You feel that Oshodhara 3 people together and looking like circus people with clothes like Osho
are same as Swami Rajneesh who is alone and simple ?? I am saying please not to make them together as are totally different.
And yes i feel Rajneesh is real authority on his own and not borrowed from anyone. I know this much.

  61. shantam prem says:

Rajneesh deserves all the credit to shake the sleepy pond with his pluch pluch pluch, as for the last 20 years, the fellow travelers were enjoying their dreamy awakefulness.
Any thing which is alive, needs renovation times and again.
The Oshodhara family business has its own dynamic, same is with others. Many people, including the people who turned Ashram into resort have their uncorrupted dedication to Osho. One can doubt their management strategy but not the intention.
Those who feel uncomfortable with the idea of disappearing into master´s aura, are reading, ” The guru papers” for solace. That is fine too.
After all, there are as many ways as the human beings.

  62. prem bubbie says:

Chinmaya booblitshka: take your pick, doesn’t matter, same bullshit, different veil.

  63. Chinmaya says:

    Swami Gyan Prakash,

    Naam achha hai.

    Welcome

  64. prem bubbie says:

Prakash my man- “rajneesh says he is dissolved into…” You believe that shit? Moron. So what he says this, says that… actions matter…. Yet again another parrot posting here. Why bother converting to Osho…. you could have saved energy by staying the fuck with your previous religion…Let me guess… Hindu? Sikh? Jain? Buddhist? Ha yes Christian, that’s it, or is it? Why mother nature keeps reproducing humans is strange, since we can build computers easily that obeys orders and is cheaply replaced… can mumble and recite stupid phrases and quotations too.

  65. Satya Deva says:

    Shantam Prem:
And this Phuii.. is for those Indians too, who have copied the success story of the west but credit, they will give to their Rama And Krishna and other dieties.

    SD:
More absolute pseudo-spiritual tosh then, eh, SP?!

Such utter nonsense only serves to emphasise my points, I’m afraid.

Unless, of course, this is an attempt at self-mocking irony….

And yes i feel Rajneesh is real authority on his own and not borrowed from anyone. I know this much.

    SD;
“,,,and not borrowed from anyone”… – Strange then, that he makes every imaginable effort to copy another:
the clothes, the absence of clothes, the hair, the beard, the voice, gestures, way of talking, the words, the ‘pregnant pauses’ – even the eyebrow twitches, for Christ’s sake!!

Doesn’t this blatant copycat act arouse any doubt at all in your mind, GP?

Are Indians such as yourself devoid of all common sense?!

Are you so desperate that you bow down to a clone?!

Let me predict a few things:
Soon there’ll be the darshans…then ‘energy’ darshans…discourses (probably fairly short to start with)…sunset ‘energy’ events where the Clone will raise his arms to invite the assembled throng of the gullible to jump up and down yelling ‘hoo’ in his direction…sannyas initiations, with new names personally given by Clone…special accommodation…bodyguards…a, er, ‘changeover’ to full authority over all Goa enterprise policy and executive decisions…armed protection…degeneration into full authoritarian ‘cult’ status….

Not necessarily in that exact order, but you’ll see my point, I’m sure.

    Suckers!

  67. Satya Deva says:

One obvious element missing from above list:

the fawning females – and plenty of ‘em!!

  68. Lokesh says:

Funny enough, I was down on my local beach this afternoon and met a lovely blonde woman called Shakti. (Poona two sannyasin who never actually met Osho)
She is German and speaks perfect English, also Spanish, which she spoke to the waiter when ordering drinks. Shakti is what I’d describe as an exceptionally good-looking woman in her mid-thirties. She told me that a few months ago she spent an evening with this Rajneesh guy in Goa and that he eventually asked her home.
According to Shakti they got quite drunk on whisky and ended up in bed. Before Rajneesh could get an erection Shakti had to spank him with a hairbrush, something which his mother had done to him as a child.
‘How was it when things got going?’ I asked.
‘Well’ , Shakti replied, ‘quite good at first but just when I was starting to get into the swing of things the guy came and almost immediately started blubbering like a baby.’
Shakti went into some quite intimate details about how he has this big guilt trip going on but swore me to secrecy and therefore I have to respect this.
Of course, this woman might have made all this up but really she did not appear to be the type of woman who needed to draw attention to herself by making up stories. I asked her if she would mind if I put this on Sannyasnews and she replied, ‘Not at all, I like to have this sort of thing out in the open.’
So, there you go, I’m not sure what to make of it. Perhaps someone would care to comment.

SP, you are so overflowing with sentimental Indian, pseudo-religious claptrap that you’re practically crying out for harsh treatment..

Potatos are shouting over the apples.

I tell you the fact, other than the technical know how… the most of the warm hearted people, be it Spanish, Italian, Brazilian or Indians, SImply don´t like this too rational and to the point approach of your kind of nations and people.
The brave new world is shifting the axis.

  88. prem martyn says:

sannyassins who cannot analyse their own agenda in the languge of sannyas (or inter and intrapersonal ) motivation,at the core of all collective group living in sannyas since time began , should not even try… its laughable…

the whole point of communal living was that our shit was openly consumable and to be enjoyed when declared….its not possible to do that if you are a hermit in language that bears no relevance to the majority of the group…listen to osho’s language it is always accessible….through insight with precision, statement and consequences…..

try using the same formula it works and is always a choice to engage or not…not an obligation.

if one recognises this it can be made to bulid community… virtual or otherwise.

  89. shantam prem says:

“And then you have the nerve to announce yourself as a sannyasin qualified to advise the world on how best preserve or improve the ‘legacy of Osho’! ”

If a Osho disciple, who is just an Osho disciple, writes about me like this, i will think thousand times.

One point i tell you truthfully, in my lexicon, people who fuck here and there before going home to their spouse are just human beings.

But the people who get initiated by a Master(any) and than flirt here and there thinking it will fasten their “Growth”, are not worthy of my any appreciation, because they have such a hole in their bottom that only by hiding themselves in a well or a lake or a sea they feel filled.
BAsically such cleverly foolish people look and behave more fucked up than they were born.
It is not a judgement but observation.

  90. shantam prem says:

A friend from the ashram days was telling that during the last weeks, he has spoken with many elderly sannyasins who have spend their life time around Osho, about the state of affairs.
Almost all are pained to see, what is happening because of management team.
I asked my friend, ” Have they ever tried to convey their feelings directly or indirectly to the management team?”
    There was no answer.
I must say in Hindi, ” Chut ka achar chat chat ke, Bheja Murabba ho gaya hain.”

  91. shantam prem says:

collective group living or communal living became obsolete once the Rajneeshpuram Debacle happened.
Osho has seen its impracticality and unsustainablity, therefore the last years of Osho were engaged to develop a better and refined model, which has the potential to goon expanding after His demise.
I don´t know, Martyn, how much your involvement was with that Model?

  92. Satya Deva says:

    Shantam Prem:
I tell you the fact, other than the technical know how… the most of the warm hearted people, be it Spanish, Italian, Brazilian or Indians, SImply don´t like this too rational and to the point approach of your kind of nations and people.

    SD:
You simply have no real answer, SP, you merely take refuge in further claptrap, such as the above, refusing to deal with the point(s).

Such ones as yourself actually do ‘the heart’ and ‘love’ no favours at all because you seem utterly confused about what ‘love’ actually is. IE you confuse love and sentimental emotionality, which you appear to be virtually drowning in.

Just how many “meat-eaters and non meat-eaters” do you actually “love” then, eh? Or is this just another of your cloudily vague throwaway one-liners, with little actual substance?

You seem one of those who like to exist in your imagination, who hate to be nailed down to realities, to facts. A bit of a fantasist…

Dreaming that traditional Indian religion is actually of value – while breathlessly awaiting the Great New Dawn of Prosperity as your country descends into westernisation, and the inevitable calamities that will bring…

Meanwhile, holding on to an idealised, sentimental view, many centuries out-of-date, of the wretched place, as a nation of “heart”…

If you can’t see this, then…I’m not surprised…You are living with layers of scales over your eyes….

  93. prem martyn says:

the language of interpersonal affect and effect….

    you dont have the skills-set,
    fatso.

  94. prem martyn says:

    hey fatso … you’re a suck…

  95. Lokesh says:

Martyn.Just returned from a five kilometre swim off the north coast of Ibiza and yes Shakti turned up and turned out to be a good swimmer. I asked her if it was okay to publish her name on Sannyasnews and she said okay. Her name is Anita Fairbanks and she normally lives in Byron Bay. She is a real world traveller. She has a facebook page. You will know it if you see it blonde, blue eyes, perfect skin..beautiful.

  96. Lokesh says:

Shantam Prem, you say, A friend from the ashram days was telling that during the last weeks, he has spoken with many elderly sannyasins who have spend their life time around Osho, about the state of affairs.
Almost all are pained to see, what is happening because of management team.

From my perspective this is a sign that these fools learned nothing around Osho.

  97. prem martyn says:

    anita fairbanks on fb……????…

anyway did you have a nice swim, 5 km ………..at your age….wow. before or after twohour dynamic?

the trouble with bloggy online stuff is that i’d have to set up an email just for this sort of thing… and i haven’t.. so i remain trapped behind my computer… though there is a re-union on ibiza .i know of..i cant make it there this summer…but if shakti stays long enough she’ll probably get to hear of it…

:) thanks anyway lokesh… fun to feel these things even if only virtually….

  98. prem martyn says:

hey fatso… you’ve never been accountable ….so keep going the same way…..
you wont experience anything by stealing…

  99. Lokesh says:

fun to feel these things even if only virtually….

Yes, having a laugh is why most of us visit here. I’ll put in a good word with Shakti for you. Keep your hairbrush handy.

Yes, swimming is great at this time of the year. The sea is like silk and visibility was maybe 35 metres underwater which is about as clear as it gets. I think it is safe to say that my most cosmic reflections at this time of the year come from gazing down into the big blue.

  100. prem martyn says:

i’m off to Italy next week in search of ‘who is in’….that blndfold tantra/satori group everyone’s raving about :) … so if shakti has had enough fun with a big tibura in ibiza she’s more than welcome…..

but being as i’m incognito in fb…..

see we’ve told the world but not each other… i knew there was something wrong with cosmic consciousness without an address….
    how will this pan out…..
    watch this space…..

  101. prem martyn says:

i scubaed a few years ago…its how i wanna disappear… into the big blue down there……

  102. prem martyn says:

    hey fatso……

    ……
    ……..
    sniff…….,

    ………
    oh nothing…..
    dont worry ….

just make sure you steal the burgers….

  103. chetna says:

“i’m off to Italy next week in search of ‘who is in’’

    I already know-Italians!

  104. Swami Gyan Prakash says:

Very interesting to know more about Shakti
It looks like a lie to me and just a story

  105. prem martyn says:

    chetna my love

  106. Lokesh says:

Prakash, why don’t you contact Shakti on Facebook and ask her yourself. Her name is Anita Fairbanks and she has long straight blonde hair, very blue eyes and a perfect face…you will recognize her from this descripotion if you search through the people with that name,,,,about eight I think.

  107. prem martyn says:

hi anita here .. i’m borrowing martyns computer….

lokesh..i never said ‘hairbrush’ it was airbrush…

and i keep getting all these frenz on fb…..if you think i’m swimming 5km tomorrow it will be in another direction from your tibura… how could you …..???

  108. Lokesh says:

Anita! How did you get on here? Whatever the hell you do, please don’t tell anyone about that thing you taught me this morning with my tibura and a dead octupus.

  109. shantam prem says:

Lokesh I hope the teachings of Anita will be of great help to serve the German Ma, your wife and most probably the loving step mother to your African sons.
So let me search Shakti, and authenticate your versiion of story.
Truth, but truth and nothing else..

  110. shantam prem says:

Truth, but truth and nothing else..

PS-Is there one kind of truth, The truth of the POTATO HEADS, Feeling at ease with the Zen they read in Osho´s books and modified it with Coconut chutney from South India( IT Sector or the “Brahmani cal wisdom”, South India is doing very well)
Do Tomatoes and Onions, and stinky Garlic have also some space in their version of truth and love.

  111. shantam prem says:

if not, please forward me her link at my face book page.

The most attractive woman i have come across is Ms. Anita Davids, whose current location is Fairbanks AK.
    just send her the message-

    Are you Shkati?
    Hallo Anita
At the latest article in http://www.sannyasnews.com; one friend from Obiza, Lokesh has shared some incident with rajneesh.
He has mentioned the name Anita fairbanks, I wonder whether i am on the right address.
Yes.. or no.. life always bring friends and foes in the unknown way.

Almost all are pained to see, what is happening because of management team.

Dear Lokesh, your perspective about elderly sannyasins is wrong. their pain only shows that they loved the place so much and are terrified to see fall .
you can not use harsh words like THESE FOOLS LEARN NOTHING AROUND OSHO. you call them fools, just because you do not have that heart to feel . There was truely magic in 17 koregaon long ago and now there is no mystery left. everything is gone. mind has taken over heart. now you have choice . either go towards mind or support heart. FROM MY PERSPECTIVE FOOLS CAN NOT EXIST LONG ENOUGH AROUND OSHO.

  117. Forest Gump says:

    Anurag,

You have must have visited public properties in India, see how those are, smell of vomit, pan, incense sticks, all mixed together have a certain vitality in it.

This forum is no different. Libidos, abuses, love, sharing, pimping, everything is available, everyone get to pick the one it need, to fulfill its vitality. I don’t take it too seriously. Existence represents itself with all the colors.

  118. shantam prem says:

Gump, the post before you was from Anugrah not Anurag.
Anugrah was writing before as Amano. I think during our common stay in Poona for more than a decade we have hardly spoken with each other. Stil.. a feeling of comradeship is there, same is with other participants who came for a week and extended the stay for months or years.
May be we know each other too, though i suspect, you have not spend much time in the real ashram, resort it can be.
Because Ashram was the world. It was not a Amma´s place of Tomaotos cuddling with each other.
Real world means smell of vomit, pan, incense sticks plus add the smell of cigrattes, bear whiskey, used condoms, Macdonald´s boxes with Vegan printed on them…. and Still.. the mystery school; the Mystery school world has never seen before.
So unique and rare… that it was a pain in the ass of many, not just the others but very own.
(Ke dekh ke Logon ki Gaand Phatti thi… baiganon ki nahi apno ki bhi…)
Because to reach there, one must drop many things on the way. If one cannot have this, than it is a solace to the heart, others cannot have it too.

Bulls eyes..without the Bull will be the glass ball, children play in the street.

  119. shantam prem says:

It can be also true that without the larger than life Aura of Osho; it was not a easy thing to maintain the same high pitch.

The social garbage was needed to be regulated. But not to the extent it has become. ..
Ghar kaya Saaf kiya.. Sabh kuch hi saaf kar diya…

  120. Satya Deva says:

    Shantam Prem:

Because Ashram was the world. It was not a Amma´s place of Tomaotos cuddling with each other.

    SD:
For your information, SP, Amma’s place is apparently not a particularly easy option, people are deliberately placed in difficult situations of work and shared accommodation, as tests, ordeals even…

Not my personal experience as I’m not a ‘follower’ of hers, but I know this from people who have been through it.

You’d be very well advised to check your facts in future, before writing such gratuitous bullshine.

But of course, facts are hardly your strong point, are they, SP, they kinda get in the way of your pseudo-poetical, obscurantist ruminations….

  121. Lokesh says:

Shantam Prem, I sent Anita a txt message to contact you. More I cannot do.

Anugrah. Sentimentality was never a sentiment that Osho promoted. This is a transient world where we have been told that it is foolish to make a home on a bridge. Yet here are you telling me that there is something of value in getting sentimental about a pile of bricks in Koregaon park where something beautiful once happened. You are no different from countless other fools from days gone by, erecting statues and plaques where something once happened and now wishing to worship something that is no more.
Why not look inside for a change? Wasn’t that the whole idea in the first place? To connect with that which was never born and will never die. You’ve forgotten the message and now worship the creed. Nothing new there. It is just the same old nonsense being peddled as religion. Well, Anugrah, I am not buying it.

  122. prem martyn says:

    hey fatso….
whilst dining at your beloved masters resort/commune/shared rental/parking lot/just visiting/not really involved/other kind of legacy/not quite sure what i’m talking about-place
i guess you always went for the fries and bucket burger family portion to express your heart……
    or should i say
chip on the shoulder ki-hain, never done a group in my life because we dont do psychology in india haven’t got a clue really jai jai,
chip in the frying pan with extra pig lard cos i’m a devotee and free of my sikhism , but not much bhantai hai….
i came to osho a bit late as i had other investments, chip on de shoulder with extra burgers on head ki jai…

  123. shantam prem says:

Lokesh.. i hope Anita connects and i take the story further.
The active or the suppressed sexual life of the religious people has not become a fully explored research subject.
Political or business leaders never claim to be on a higher level than the masses, but the people who teach “Growth”, how they think or do in the matters of physical lust, be it a woman, car, watch or a nicely made hair brush for the long black haired souls, teaching PURITY.

In my vision of spirituality, religions will remain, because they are here to remain but the people behind them will be subjected to human justice and psychology. This can happen only when the disciples don´t behave like beggers, waiting for a holy lick…( i mean licking the feet)

  124. shantam prem says:

I have written extra for you Martyn, Vegan on Macdonald´s packing. Try their veggie burger. It beats the meat.

PS- because of religious reasons, if like a Muslim you will nenevr enter a church other than destryong it, please send someone else to buy Veggie burger.

It will melt in the mouth.

  125. Satya Deva says:

    Anugrah:
There was truely magic in 17 koregaon long ago and now there is no mystery left. everything is gone. mind has taken over heart. now you have choice . either go towards mind or support heart. FROM MY PERSPECTIVE FOOLS CAN NOT EXIST LONG ENOUGH AROUND OSHO.

    SD:
These words are dripping in unconscious irony…

Exactly, ther WAS magic…long ago – that’s the whole point that you people always insist on missing!

Clinging on to memories of a DEAD past is the very ground of sentimentalism.

And sentimentalism is the corruption of love and trye feeling.

Asyou say “mind has taken over heart” – but unfortunately, it’s YOUR silly mind, Anugrah/Amano, that’s running you, at the expense of the truth of “the heart”.

The silly mind that always wants everything to remain the same, to repeat situations, ad infinitum…

The same mind that’s en route to creating another religion out of Osho’s sannyas…

Same old, same old, thoroughly mediocre…

With ‘well-meaning’, but too often apparently rather stupid guys like you and Shantam Prem rolling out the predictable homilies on a virtual conveyor-belt, in between snores….

  126. shantam prem says:

Satya Deva, please go deeper into some past life medittaion techniques. May be you find yourself one after another life, in Hindu format.
Accidentally white people, fucked up by the one book one prophet shop..so fucked up like a child, who sees snake in every rope.

  127. shantam prem says:

Hundreds of times, i have been in the Churches. Many times during the last prayer, many times when the baptism ceremony happens.
Just yesterday, i have seen the biggest church in the town fully packed during a Church Music festival.

In a 45 minutes Mass, Jesus Christ is remembered almost in equal numbers, almost double than the God himself.
No semi educated Indian returned person tells them about sentimentality, about worshiping the dead and other such bloody marry non sense.

Such is the micro chip installed in the spiritually half cookedpeople, seems in such a hurry to dare to walk their walk. As if the leg surgery is confining them to play foot ball.

My observation is that the Church goers are more healthier, saner and intelligent than these so called sannyasins, The transsexuals of inner journey.

  128. chetna says:

SD-If we count how many times you used the word sentimental, we will get tired. Did a therapist of yours said to you not to be sentimental, it is a cause of all evil?

All human feelings are ok, relax! Accept and cheer up!

    Again and again attacks!

SP I share with you many things you say. Now I am in India, and my soul is resting here. People are smiling from the heart, not scared to touch another human being, everybody offers you food (this time the guy in the airport after changing my money wanted to share his dinner with me and my partner). Things are just natural, so I really rest from the West. Sometimes Western people scare me.

But we cannot really generalise. But one thing is certain-we see what is inside us!
I am not denying any of the problems India has (incl their fake religions etc), but the kindness it treated me always with I will never forget.

    India my love!

  129. shantam prem says:

The biggest fools on the earth are who feel iritated by the people, who follow a different defination.
For example, few people are so clear What LOVE IS?
It is not sentimantality, it is not emotions. It is not this it is not that. It is just a pure Space….
It is just like a finger after the first knuckle in the ass..*

By defining Love, these skulls simply take the mystery away, the Enigma is no more there.
By saying this is love and that is not love, because they heard in various Satsangs..
For such people i use the World Shitsang. Too much hyper active mind, so eager to tell two plus two are four.
MAy be SD can tell what is 1.398726 plus 2.601264
Is such a big number also sums up as 4.

    PS-3.999999 is also not 4.
And why it should be 4.

MAy be may be… Love is…..

  130. shantam prem says:

Oh Chetna.. say my greetings to India.
And please, use your all the will, when it is needed to say NO to the foods offered by the smiling strangers.
Delhi Railway station announces this every few minutes.

It seems with the real, fake comes inevitably in the market. May be they are the twins.

I wish my fellow writer SD, reads ShantaRam, the bulky novel.

  131. prem martyn says:

chetna.. you nut case……you take the sweet offered to you on train or nice drink with white smile.. you’ll be in hallucinogenic daze in 20 seconds… laced with vets anaesthetic…. i was 20 and on train up north …i took a boiled sweet… and starting hallucinating a mirage… fell asleepish… and next thing i knew gorillas (sorry i mean indians ) hands on myneck purse….i pushed him off and he scarpered…. dont ever accept anything !! they send scouts up and down trains looking for westerners….

nice veggie food though at all veg restaurants….just dont look in the kitchens !!

  132. chetna says:

Common, of course I would not! And am aware of all these kind of people. I was talking about genuine guys eating their food and always happy to share. Indian families have beautiful customs!

In fact, I got very ill in India from water. Since then I started boiling it all.

Martyn, sweeten up a bit! Heard of Karma? You may think why it happened to you and not to me!

  134. Forest Gump says:

    Shantam,

I realized, I misread “Anugrah” as “Anurag”. I don’t know, may be a sign of getting old or too much shit to handle.

The video you showed brought tears in my eyes. In this ugly society, how helpless and weak we are. This is so painful, what to talk about other things. The boy’s family is sucked up in permanent vacuum and hell. Cruelty has no end.

  135. shantam prem says:

Gumpy, yesterday evening at NdTv i have seen the report about this boy. This video has cholked my heart, so much so i feel nausea.
May be because of the fact, the child is of my younger son´s age or may be like most of the Indians i am also a sentimental fool.
But many in the world were equally charged to see a video of young woman dying in Iran, by asking with other thousands, the rights of democracy. The young woman whose asssucker husband cut her nose, is on the cover of Time Magazine.
It can be also that by standing with Osho, i am getting used to, to stand with the under dogs.
Or may be it is the Medittaion.. touching the deeper layers of LOVE… (so ego fullfilling it sounds)

Teri yari Main bihari Sukh na payo Ri.

  136. anugrah says:

lokesh, you can call me fool or foolish, i do not mind because i do not expect you to understand . me . keep your advice to yourself . you suggested me WHY NOT GO INSIDE FOR CHANGE.

good advice, but coming from coward. so it is not going to work.

satya deva, you used the word stupid for me and sp. is that what you learn. looks like you never went to school. we are all friends here. show some manners.
if you can be creative, do not be distructive……i hope you feel better soon and come up with normal communication skills

  137. anugrah says:

hey guys, when you disagree , just say that you are disagree, do not use low class language. show some respect to each other as if we can chating in some place not in computer..it is easy to abuse anyone on internet, any coward can do it . osho is not for cowards . give everyone space and do not be cowards

  138. shantam prem says:

Lokesh. Shakti aka Anita i have found on FB. Below is the copy of the latter to her.
Rajneesh has a right to respond.

    Hallo Shkati
Co writer Lokesh at sannyasnews.com has described about you and the incident which took place with rajneesh, this you can read at the latest article in sannyasnews.

I just want to authenticate the fact. If the hair brush story is true, you can imagine, in Russia or Ukraine, Holland or italy, how many beautiful women will get the taste of debauchery in the name of spiritual growth. If the version Lokesh wrote is true, i must congratulate you for showing courage.

Rajneesh is enlightened or not, a right guide or not, but you seem to be quite young and charming and therefore more powerful than these big mouths and it shows also how these spiritual teachers are hell bent to use their power to get the women.
If you feel it was a normal fling, it is your individual will. If you feel it was a misuse of power and ugly side a teacher, who has already one steady and dedicated girlfriend, i wish to take the story further, because i Love Osho and simply hate the freedom given by him being misused by these new age priests.

    Loving regards

    shantam

PS-simultaneously this letter is posted at sannyasnews in the same article. Honesty and truth flourish in transparency.

    God bless.

  139. Chinmaya says:

    Shakti,
I endorse the views experessed by Shantam Prem and I would love to say, you can believe in his words……Though, you are the master of your choice, but truth remains truth.
    Love

  140. prem martyn says:

chetna… of course you meant nice people….. though in some parts of india being with a white person bestows divine providence and fortune…and .if i told you the mess ups in India over the years…..then its a country that can be especially karmful….

sure there are lovely episodes….but they , the indian mentality can never be at ease with the western mind and vice versa….they have a deep deathist trait without an emotive humanist tradition…leading to all sorts of ideological unadressable layers beyond the gap toothed smiles…even conversationally when their voice patterns begin to speak a foreign language , usually english, it always comes across as a speak your weight machine…
now if that means that they have no aural grasp of emotive inflection or that their emotional body is stunned into stupor from a young age…..
but its only the westernised asians that actually have a clue what to do with their independence… for 99.9 per cent of indians are collectively bred to replicate formulas…without rebellion… and thats sweet is it… i think you mean your privileged and you would like to become naive like them…sorry you cant do that…different cultural menu…

The same is true of the west…which though apparently accessible through educational alertness , actually is also in a stupor…but i dont go around saying…coooeeee look at the lovely latvians, spanish,….etc…Its all moonshine which is why i avoid 99.9 percent of people too.. :) always have…because its all distorted unrevolutionary psychotic behaviour… full of karma…!

on top of which all the indian men are teenagers……as the women have little authority outside of family roles…i have only been served coffe in 5 star hotel by stiff tarts…never anything approaching a pub girl chat….like in uk or in europe.. talking convivially to an anonymous indian woman is equivalent to rape in their eyes

    fairly familiar stuff im sure…
so as a man i cant roll into india and meet the babes… though the western girls go around enjoying the indian men..on their m’bikes at goan sunset parties…. great good .

..but you see my tits are not attractive like yours…

..funny how they dont trust western men with their women though… but you western girls can get lots of unwanted attention too..especially in the cities its usually heavy untrustable energy…because the libido never got any points in the contemporary indian mind….mmmmm
makes everything very hearty .. and aged about 13, before you got pubic hairs..

all of which leads me to say.. have a lovely lovely time.. the only veg dominant country in the world and the most stunning soft beauties because of that…meat eaters cant get that soft a look , its in the eyes……

    ommmmmmm

  141. Satya Deva says:

    shantam prem

The biggest fools on the earth are who feel iritated by the people, who follow a different defination.
For example, few people are so clear What LOVE IS?
It is not sentimantality, it is not emotions. It is not this it is not that. It is just a pure Space….
It is just like a finger after the first knuckle in the ass..*

By defining Love, these skulls simply take the mystery away, the Enigma is no more there.

    SD:
SP, you have demonstrated exactly why such means of discrimination is needed.

What you don’t get is that it actually takes away none of the beauty, it simply ensures we’re not kidding ourselves.

You, however, are clearly attached to kidding yourself , hence your virulent response.

Fast asleep and snoring you are, damned by your own words….

  142. Satya Deva says:

    Anugrah:
satya deva, you used the word stupid for me and sp. is that what you learn. looks like you never went to school. we are all friends here. show some manners.
if you can be creative, do not be distructive……i hope you feel better soon and come up with normal communication skills

    SD:
I called both you and Shantam Prem “stupid” because that’s simply how you both come across to me in the matters under discussion.

To be attached to a situation or circumstances that no longer exist is stupid – isn’t it?

Yes, ‘understandable’ perhaps – but do you prefer me to be patronising towards you or to show you respect by telling you how it is, honestly?!

I think Prem Martyn is right about the communication problems between Indians and us of the West.

And I’m beginning to think that perhaps some of you ‘new generation’ Indians might benefit from certain kinds of therapy groups, to help you understand the lingo better…

  143. Satya Deva says:

    chetna

SD-If we count how many times you used the word sentimental, we will get tired. Did a therapist of yours said to you not to be sentimental, it is a cause of all evil?

All human feelings are ok, relax! Accept and cheer up!

    SD:
And there I take issue with you, Chetna, because you show a discrimination deficit!

If you don’t know the difference between love and sentimental emotion then I wonder just what you’ve gained through your time in sannyas…

Reminds me of how you brusquely shrugged aside the idea – actually, the fact – that a lot of women were harmed by the sexual free-for-all community ethos of the Poona 70′s.

You first denied damage was ever done, before denigrating any such women by labelling them “wimps”, ‘out of touch with their own power’.

Perhaps you thrived, Chetna, and good for you if you did, but you’re conveniently closed to the darker side of what went on, it seems (unless you’ve modified your views of last year).

Perhaps you should re-read Martyn’s reports, for a start, and decide whether the women involmved were really getting what you say all women came to Osho for, “LOVE” (your capitals, I believe).

  144. Forest Gump says:

    SD showered Bakwas again.

You know stray donkeys, they go make circles all around, then come back stay under the same tree and pretend to think, then go make circles.

“Khoti Tur phir ke, Bohrd Thalle” :)

  145. Lokesh says:

To help you understand the lingo better…

Or, to put it another way, gimme a break, Jimmy.

The basic thing with a lot of the Indian sannyasins is that they are still mired in tradition. The way they relate to Osho is how Hindus have been doing it with their gurus for ever. What brought them to Osho was not an urgent enquiry into the nature of the enlightened condition but rather a need to play an ancient role steeped in tradition. You can see this in the pride exhibited in Osho being their master etc. I doubt that many of them have actually had any real experiences that showed them a trnscendental consciousness that exists beyond the realm of ego. I say this because of the daft comments they come away with, talking about inner emptiness etc when it is obvious that they are not coming from that space but rather one of childish arrogance. Yes, there is something sweet about it, but in the long run it comes across as simplistic and dumb.
Most of them would shit themselves if somehow it happened they took a step into the void of no-mind. Most of their rhetoric is based in sentimentallity and emotional mind fuck that has little or nothing to do with what Osho called the flight of the alone to the alone. Instead they cling to hollow words and a relationship to a guru that says they need a boo hoo because they are a bunch of kids missing daddy. I don’t think that therapy would help….maybe a strong dose of psychedelics. It really isn’t my problem so I don’t spend too much time trying to work it out.
Ho-hum….off for a trek in the mountains of Scotland, far from the maddening crowd and internet connections, and people, and cars, and sannyasnews..

  146. prem martyn says:

one more time for those who were watching the radio the first time : the emphasis is not on the idea but its communicability, not on what you/i hold dear but what use it has…on a scale of values….held in common…
.’transparency’ a little used commodity in the search for growth is my conclusion on sannyas…and let it be clear sannyas is not osho…in my value system….

    I said that >

sannyassins who cannot analyse their own agenda in the languge of sannyas (or inter and intrapersonal ) motivation,at the core of all collective group living in sannyas since time began , should not even try… its laughable…

the whole point of communal living was that our shit was openly consumable and to be enjoyed when declared….its not possible to do that if you are a hermit in language that bears no relevance to the majority of the group…listen to osho’s language it is always accessible….through insight with precision, statement and consequences…..

try using the same formula it works and is always a choice to engage or not…not an obligation.

if one recognises this it can be made to bulid community… virtual or otherwise.

im glad someone is reading my posts. hello SD :) .

No. I am just about to pack my bag and have an early night. I’m off to the auld hameland first thing tomorrow morning and then off up into the Grampian Mountain range. Wave your freak flag high. Adios, for some days. XXX

    I sincerely mean this.
As I have heard Osho saying, even ants are on the way to enlightenment.
and i really wish that these kind of people are on a higher range of spirituality, more advanced, nearer to Godliness, that when the box office window gets open, they get the tickets for the best place for a direct Darsahn with the ultimate.

    Now stop Barking.

  153. shantam prem says:

I think, readers and writers at sannyasnews can benefit in the language lessons, specially when the post is from native English speakers.

I am happy to learn one new word today, used by Martyn, Lokesh and Bubbie; Muff Diving.

Muff diving is a slang term that means orally pleasing a woman.

Does it also means traditional sannyas was meant for renunciation, whereas New sannyas has taken the form of Muff Diving; pleasing the forgotten race, giving due acknowledgement.
I hope tomorrow these gentlemen can tell what is the opposite of Muff diving.
That word will be much fitting for the contemporary Sannyas; Swamis like to be pleased.
Present Osho movement is not being run by the Muffy puffies.

    NewIndian superbug threatens world

    London, August 11
British scientists have found a superbug that is resistant to most antibiotics and are warning that it is widespread in India and could soon appear worldwide. The superbug has so far been identified in 37 people who returned to the UK after undergoing surgery in India or Pakistan.

Scientists have warned that this new superbug, called New Delhi-Metallo-1, resistant to antibiotics, has reached Britain and could spread worldwide as nothing is being developed to combat it, the scientists wrote in the latest edition of the ‘Lancet Infectious Diseases’ journal.

In fact, the bug was found attached to E.coli bacteria that cause urinary tract and respiratory infections, they say, adding it has “an alarming potential to spread”.

The enzyme can jump easily from one bacterium to another and the scientists fear it will start attaching itself to more dangerous diseases causing them to become resistant to antibiotics, the ‘Daily Mail’ reported.

The researchers said the superbug appeared to be already circulating widely in India, where the health system is much less likely to identify its presence or have adequate antibiotics to treat patients.

“The potential of NDM-1 to be a worldwide public health problem is great, and coordinated international surveillance is needed,” the authors wrote. Aside from the UK, it has also been detected in Australia, Canada, the Netherlands, the US and Sweden. The researchers said since many Americans and Europeans travel to India and Pakistan for elective procedures like cosmetic surgery, it was likely the superbug would spread worldwide.

Professor David Livermore, from the Health Protection Agency, who co-wrote the research with Professor Timothy Walsh from Cardiff University, said: “The NDM-1 problem is likely to get progressively worse in the foreseeable future.

“The potential for wider international spread and for NDM-1 to become endemic worldwide are clear and frightening.”

It is said to be resistant even to a class of antibiotics known as carbapenems, which are reserved for use in emergencies and used when bacteria are found to be resistant to more commonly prescribed antibiotics.

Worryingly, there are only two antibiotics that work against NDM-1 and the likelihood is that they will also be overcome before long. Prof Walsh said: “In many ways, this is it. This is potentially the end. There’re no antibiotics in the pipeline.” Even if scientists started work immediately on discovering new antibiotics against the threat, he added, there will be nothing available soon.

We have a bleak window of may be 10 years, where we are going to have to use the antibiotics we have very wisely, but also grapple with the reality that we have nothing to treat these infections with. It is the first time it has got to this stage with these type of bacteria,” he said. — Agencies

    What are superbugs?

Over the past century, a huge variety of antibiotics have been developed to treat the plethora of bacterial species that cause human diseases. Some strains of bacteria have evolved into “superbugs” that cannot be killed easily by antibiotics.

    Its evolution

Every time bacteria are exposed to antibiotics, there is potential for resistance to evolve. The way humans use antibiotics has helped fuel the rise of the superbugs.

That explains the dementia people seem to acquire when visiting India!! Those super bugs seem to hone in on Western seekers especially those who have taken or want to take sannyas… it could be these people have a genetic flaw that makes them susceptible to these brain eating buggers…. Just a theory that was published in a famous scientific journal, “Common Sense Monthly”.

  156. prem bubbie says:

shantam Pee: Why do you post the entire article when you also post a link to that same article… Catering to the lazy Indians who might be reading? I wonder.

This is for a special person in this thread.

  159. shantam prem says:

Whenever you judge anything, try a small experiment: try to find out who has given you this idea. And if you go deeply into it, you will be surprised: you can even hear your mother saying it, or your father, or your teachers in the school.
You can hear their voices still there resounding in your memory, but it is not yours.
And whatsoever is not yours is ugly; and whatsoever is yours is beautiful,
    it has grace. OSHO

    No thought of the day

  160. prem martyn says:

    Screaming Pig Lard Man…

Hope you feel better without the Judgements…..

Pig loves Osho… but its not sure about you and your intentions at all…in fact its looking very worried right now……

Maybe you need a movement …..(blood running down the drains man..)…or a non judgemental approach….but Osho gave you that and still you have a hammer in lunch box…..

    A movement for you ….like Sanny-ass

How about you do the ass part …..and leave everyone else to do the sunny stuff…

Osho forgives/loves/ inspires you….. thats why the Ashram wasand is always veggie….Forgive… AND CHANGE… but you left the change part out….like thousands of other ass-movement seekers….

its a subtle thing change.. it cant be forced….

Ther are definitives…. you wanna do white robe …..you wear white robe….I dont….

you wanna meditate in asram and kill….you can you do…humans are free… and sentiment never started or stopped your freedom…. and free also doesn’t oblige to include love….Killing is free certainly guilt less im zillions of cases humann or otherwise… so its okay…do what you want its a free universe….

Your love , …similar to millions of people…. doesnt oblige you to give a shit when mouth opens….in desire….or gluttony….

but thats maybe what you need…. a religious movement ….for your mouth…one big long diarraoea type movement….

it might move you from stealing other peoples love/life force … to opening your own….
or of course you could join the sufis… who eat meat…
i was in istanbul after ramadan….and all the strrets were still wet……

sufis write beautiful poetry, great whirling beloved master and everything you want…..but
    they dont do hypocrisy

they dont say we love animals alive only.. they say… we like to eat them too…
Osho never ever did…Period.. no ifs no buts. A model not of copying of course ….but of enquiry….
    You with me there?

And yes i am aware of his discourses on shooting kulaks(russian peasants…… and not obliging any holier than thou isms over the ego and food.. i was there….but these are not licences to kill….
the net effect was and is …..sacrifice your-self always in everything until you disappear….

‘dont become rigid’ is to transform yourself .. its not a permit to abandon conscious vigilance….or awareness

you instead prefer to go to the universal freedom of osho and justify your behaviour ..and when you land back on the earth… with a bump… take nothing of him to generously contribute from his vision of tenderness….to all beings……

becos you dont want to curb your freedom to indulge…. thats where your sentiment for him lives, thats your agenda…

    i write this becos i know it…
and it means you and other carnivore tongue twisters can meditate love sing dance and …also ..stink on your own sweat….the trail of effect….from your indulgence…

but the only movement u need as we used to say in Poona …is a Baul one….

I applaud the personal risks taken by all animal activists to highlite mindless inflicted misery…. its not pain even ….its the sheer volume of misery we witness….and refuse to participate in….

Theres no guarantee that animal activist action will be free of self gratification, and self defeating motivation….
Thats why insight into fully effective actions are needed.Praxis in Anarchist terms.
That doesnt mean carnivores can avoid their motives because others(activists) are less than competent…
    BUT
Any revolutionary will start with what he can do…
Osho has given you social , emotive and cosmic maps….
and I dont have to share mine with you in areas of non-congruency….

For all I know you and others give all your wealth to charity and work all night for the worlds disposessed children….

and I would welcome that whatever ego investment you got from it…..

i personally dont want to hang with carnivores……

and i make a point of it if they keep talking about Osho’s love….
and yes I have worked and continue to intend to spread humane education with my and my colleagues efforts…
because i want my personal world to be that way…

now print this and stand outside an osho centre and hand it out….

me well i could eat a burger they smell so delicious all that burnt blood..mmmmm yummy the eyeballs on toast…. no i’ll have suspended chicken from a wire….or entrails of piglet….hang on i’m late for kundalini……..

or maybe i should go to the sufis instead……..

  161. shantam prem says:

    yes Beloved,
Go to the Sufis.. they have very good Mutton Biryani.
Will you prefer Halal or the normal !

If by chance.. you visit your family, i mean blood related family for a Chrismis meal, do they cook extra for you or you spoil their festivity.

Joking apart, no one doubts, vegetarian food is better and aesthetic, but stanidng with placards before an abortion clinic… so much pro life activism !!
Not bad either, if it gives people the purpose to love.

‘“Publishers Group West” is the same distributor that advertises and promotes that most anti-Osho book, “The Rajneesh Chronicles: The True Story of the Cult that Sought to Kill Two Thirds of the Human Race.” Osho’s picture is on the cover of this book. …
l find it interesting that OFI has got the same publisher to do that … this only shows how professional these publisher’s are and how intelligent this person who thought of this .. OFI have managed to remove the thorn with a thorn !

    or my behaviour…

abortion…how not to suffer… better not be born.. :)

and osho sacrificed himself because he didnt exist..went all the way to extinction at the hands of the viloent ones…..

Gyan Parkash ji, you seem to be too eager to jump.
Before you answer Dilruba, first check with rajneesh about her credentials.
She is one of those woman who can tell your favourate guy, ” Rajneesh aaj kal tu bahut bolene laga hain.. Chup chap baith ab.” (Rajneesh you are speaking too much now a day. Now sit silently for a while.)

And you can see from her answer, ” She can sell her Mom if the price is good.” and she will not look back though will go on sending the best caretaker to take care of the mother.
A flower from the garden of Osho.

  171. Dilruba says:

Shantam .. probably lam a cauliflower from some unororganic farm .. Rajneesh is a friend .. probably he is friendly with all .. l guess gyan prakash needs to express too .. so its fine .. with me .. if he calls me a pimp / any other name .. and l asked my mother if she would mind if l sold her .. she said ” lam toothless .. there would be no buyer ” .. so l dropped the idea of selling her .. l keep her

  177. shantam prem says:

Granddad was reminiscing about the good old days.

“When I was a boy, my Momma would send me down to the corner store with $1.00, & I’d come back with 5 bags of potatoes, 2 loaves of bread, 3 pints of milk, a hunk of cheese, a box of tea, & 6 eggs.
    You can’t do that now.
    Too many fuckin’ security cameras.”

    Chinese Proverb:
‘When someone shares something of value with you and you benefit
from it, you have a moral obligation to share it with others.

Thought about sannyasins and ex. sannyasins; the authority unto themselves.

  178. shantam prem says:

Satya deva, i take your post from the previous thread-

Because at times he(GUMP) comes across as typifying a certain sannyasin attitude, a certain lazy mentality that justifies all manner of self-indulgence, in the name of ‘Osho’.

Do you not think that might be worth looking at, or even discussing?

You yourself are a fine example, are you not, going on and on and on, continuously whining about the Poona management, week after week, month after month, year after year?!

I’ve also recently asked for statements about how people are NOW connected to Osho and what they think are his teachings, in a practical sense that actually influences their life. And asked for unemotional responses rather than sentimental guff.
    No replies yet….

    Continuously Whining about Poona….
It is my clear observation that the down grading of the Ashram as Osho left..has left a not so nice scare, something like when plastic surgery goes wrong.
Still.. this much awareness everybody has achieved to go on sharpening their path.

I am not doubting your intention and the commitment for inner exploration, but you have not used the tools developed by Osho during His last years.

Somewhere i have read that Osho was taking hardly half an hour to finish one book, do you think he will take years to rectify the mistakes of Poona one or the ranch.

I can offer one example about one co writer.
Dilruba aka Kavita came to Pune for a week end visit with her German friends from Bombay, i think it was 1991-1992
Few weeks later she came alone and within few weeks she resigned from her job or apprenticeship in a five Star Hotel and came to Pune for an indefinite period.
Within few months her mother sold everything what they have in Mumbai, purchased the flat near the ashram and started working as volunteer in the Ashram work.

As i know… Dilruba has not seen the ashram gate for years. There is no need. If you meet her personally, This “cauliflower lady” has developed extra sharp sensitivity, meeting and separating, happiness or sorrow, life and death have lost the duality.
Now is the point, i ask Dilruba to answer herself.
Was this possible without the razor edge life of the Ashram. After all books, audios and meditation techniques one can practise where ever one is.

Dilruba take your time and Answer. i cannot even guess, what will come out from you.

From my side…answer lies in the Chinese proverb quoted in the other post.

  179. shantam prem says:

PS- Satya deva.. i request you, before you write on the topic, please try to interview few people in London who were going Poona regularly during 1987-2000
and why they stop going now. More than 20, 30 faces of British sannyasins are coming in my memory who have spend considerable time in pune.
There life experinece may shed some light.

ALso it is a matter of decency, not to speak about that experience which one has not. The whole Poona 2 phase you were living on your own. I am sure, you have enriched your life in this way, but is it not utterly inappropriate to comment about something one has no experience.

  180. Dilruba says:

This “cauliflower lady” has developed extra sharp sensitivity, meeting and separating, happiness or sorrow, life and death have lost the duality.
Now is the point, i ask Dilruba to answer herself.
Was this possible without the razor edge life of the Ashram. After all books, audios and meditation techniques one can practise where ever one is

Shantam .. l cannot seperate my life as before & after coming to know Osho … l cannot specifically say its only through his techniques / books / audio .. but yes he did ignite the flame .. & now l know that the role of the catalyst is over .. this flame has no ownership whosoever .. but yes l do bow down to Osho for it .. but l also know this bowing down is not needed

when people ask what is sannyas… refer them to shaktis holey-ness….

i’m so bored i keep bouncing off the walls….

but hey i like your wife….that focussed gaze reminds me of meditation or is that master-bation…i’m never certain….

    c u latex..

hey prakash you didnt want be in buddha hall when osho stuck his fingers through the tits of a cartoon girl on a card someone sent him….no prakash that was two holey !

smile and the world smiles with you… wank and you wank alone…

    :)

  186. Chinmaya says:

    Bubbie dear

With your abusive language for Osho, it seems you are very near to Oshofrom the core of your heart, all else are lagging behind. In any way, you are linked with our enlightened Master and He likes people like you, more than others.

    Love

  187. Chinmaya says:

    Dilraba dear,

The Catalyst is assimilated very down inside you. Now, you run wheresoever you can, He will not leave you. He says, just estasblish the relation with me once and than, I will see, where you go. All techniques of His are meant for igniting your energy and now you seem to be at energy level now, which is closely connected with Him.
Good wishes to you, on the path of your inside, ignited by our Master. Osho says, once you have ignited, there is no need of Master even. May be, you have reached to that stage……

    Cheers oh Dilruba Dear,

  188. anugrah says:

has anyone seen new issue of magazine YES OSHO

  189. Dilruba says:

Chinmaya .. u talk too much .. l hope your master ignites the flame in you

  190. shantam prem says:

    Yes..OSHO..Yes

Is there something special in the magazine of the same name?
I will be happy if once in few years, it is not the replica of Osho Times; the loss making original magazine which could not compete with the other Osho magazine.
And Anugrah, if you remember, what Sadhana, the spoke person mentioend, ” paper edition has to be stoped It is to save the trees.”

I am sure, some sannyasin in power or sannyasin of a sannyasin, when commits murder, will tell to the court,” No your honur, i did not kill. on the contrary i helped him to be free from the body.”

it is like.. TAETI stinks.. but SHIT… this is the perfume from where Bubbie like people come!

  191. shantam prem says:

Martyn, can you post more photos of Bubbie´s wife.
MAy be sister or sister in law too. Family album is always nice to see.

  192. shantam prem says:

“A real Master is an awakener. His function is totally different from a teacher. His function is far more difficult. And only very few people can stay with a Master because to wake up after millions of lives is not an ordinary feat. It is a miracle.”
    Osho

“Once i became awake..the first thing i did was to break the alarm clock.”
From the diary of Poona One disciple

  193. Lokesh says:

Prakash, you say, This is the real world of Osho for the world to see.
If you really believe that you are even more lost than I originally suspected. The only thing that you appear to be in touch with that is’real’ is the needle on my bullshit meter, which goes into the red when near any of your comments.
You go on to say: And speaking against Swami Rajneesh and now adding a Ponographic link shows only frustated sannyas here.
What this shows is your lacking a sense of humour and the repressed nature of your psyche.
Chinmaya: If you had any sense at all you would stop delivering your hollow comments for they only serve to illustrate what a smug fool you are. Talking like you are connected to something very ‘deep’ that you have labelled as ‘Osho’ when in fact most of your utterances are simply spiritual drivel.

  194. Dilruba says:

Shantam … lam wondering if the chinese proverb was written by the chinese publisher ..

  195. Lokesh says:

Shantam Prem. Your latest comment suggests that simply by being an Osho sannyasin an awakening of some kind will come as a consequence.
Well, if the superficial tosh being traded by you lot on this blog is anything to go by, this is simply not true. The miracle obviously has not happened.
By the way Shantam, what on earth did you write to Shakti? She phoned me yesterday evening and was raving on about what you had written to her on Facebook. I eventually hung up on her but not before she managed to describe you as and I quote: ‘That nosey parker Indian and his stupid questions.’
    You naughty boy!

  196. Dilruba says:

Shantam l have to say shut up to too .. and to myself too ..

  197. Dilruba says:

Shantam l have to say shut up to you too .. and to myself too ..

  198. shantam prem says:

Oh Dear Lokesh, seems like, you got the internet connection in your Scotland cottage.
What i wrote to her, is on this thread.
    And why i wrote?
You were encourging everyone to connect with her. You made her identity public. You made her affair/love affair/hairbrush fettish of rajneesh PUBLIC.

Below is the relevant portion of her angry reply-
I will now remove you from my friends and anything you or that bastard Lokesh write about me I will completely deny.

and my second and last mail-

Please, just think this communication has not happened.
I was thinking you have authorised Lokesh to bring your story in Public.
You can see, yourself what he has written. without this, i would not have dared to write like this.
    So…the chapter is closed

and the chapter is really closed. A woman´s diginity needs to be resotred. Her name has already been tossed too much.

You, Lokesh read your posts about her. I am learning too, from the complex human psychology.

  199. shantam prem says:

    I shut up
    you shut up

Soye hue bazzaar main… bas bajegi ek hi Tuuti…
    Bhala Kiski??

In the sleepy Bazzar, only one will Peep.
    Who is he?

  200. Lokesh says:

Hi Shantam, now I understand. No problem. Shakti is a very beautiful-looking woman but she is a real headbanger. Let sleeping bow-wows lie. Yes, I can see that I too should have kept my mouth shut. Live and learn. I don’t think Shakti knew about the existence of sannyasnews blog until I told her about it and she wasn’t really listening when I asked her if it was okay to write about her meeting with Rajaneesh. Anyway, no real harm done.
So, here I am in the north of Scotland. Very green after burnt out and roasting hot Spain. Off for a walk.
Shakti RIP…..and her hairbrush full of long blonde hair.

    http://edition.cnn.com/video/#/video/world/2010/06/29/reza.pakistan.rape.victim.cnn?iref=allsearch

Lokesh…after the above post, i have checked the old video report of a 13 year old Pakistani girl.
Please watch this and read the subtitels carefully.

This girl…this courageous girl has not got the blue eyes, she is not blond, she has not photo perfect body, she is wearing Burqa not the Bikini..
    What to say about world travel, she may not even see few cities of her country;
But if i have a choice for Darshan and to walk barefoot to reach…it will be the courageous woman like her.
This girl will not even know what sannyas is, what medittaion is… what the modren Lingo is…
Yet..who will deny her the place in the eyes of human and divine sensebilites and justice.

  202. Lokesh says:

SP I looked at the CNN link. Nothing new there. Afterall, much of human history is record of horrible crimes commited.
The American media publishs such articles yet never really voices an opinion that the invasion of Iraq was illegal and the only real reason that USA armed forces are Afghanistan is because of business as usuall.
Yes, it is good to bring attention to this rape victims story but what about the thousands of people suffering right now because their skin was seared off by American bombs?

  203. Satya Deva says:

    Shantam Prem:

ALso it is a matter of decency, not to speak about that experience which one has not. The whole Poona 2 phase you were living on your own. I am sure, you have enriched your life in this way, but is it not utterly inappropriate to comment about something one has no experience.

    SD:
    That’s a fair point, SP.

And one that you might do well to note yourself, eg when issuing your blanket condemnations of other teachers and what you call their ‘shitsangs’….

  204. prem martyn says:

    Hi Shakti Doll babe here…..

I’m currently in the Lotus Position..(.Well at least that’s the position Bubbie says he’s put me in )….Like a lotus he’s got me in a bath-tank of water and he’s hosing me down with the shower (at least that’s what he says it is)…. Seems the water pressure is a bit low though … and I cant tell cos I promised to keep my glazed eyes shut….

Lokesh ,remember If you are all at sea here or even when swimming ,you can use me as a floatation device… just wrap my legs around your neck. like Bubbie does
..Bubbie does these practice swims with me every night for that sea-cruise he’s promised to take me on…whats the name oh yes…. The Titanus…

Luckily, I haven’t got the foggiest idea what’s ahead for me.. Bubbie is kind though… he says he wont swap me for any other other model when he gets tired of me….he wont let me down…..he wont burst my bubble…….

Spiritually speaking of course…how do i know anything….i’m only a blonde babe…..I asked once what is it ‘IN ME’ that recognises or defines anything….?
    …..and Bubbie replied….yes sure he does…….

????????? Then he said lighten up or he’ll pack me off back to my supplier…..Zany Cohen’s Tantric Gift Shop…

Shantam…….i can see you’re pleased to meet me……but slow down……..us blonde girls dont like the smell of burning rubber…..or flesh….

    xxkisses Shakti Doll

  205. Satya Deva says:

    Chinmaya

    A man enquired a Faque Guru -
Why female desire more sex than Male ?
Ans – When u put your finger in your ear and shake it,
    Which feels better ?
    Your finger or ear ?

This is for a special person in this thread.

    SD:
Ooooh, Chinnie – you NAUGHTY little man!

And I thought you were so innocent, so, you know, ‘spiritual’…

I suggest you perform at least three active meditations a day for the next three months (make that four at weekends) to flush this pornographic poison from your poor old bodymind.

You’re a disgrace to Indian Sannyas, sir!

  206. shantam prem says:

Lokesh.. it is not the story but what this 13 year old girl motivates-
“What the police has done with me and has ruined my life; tomorrow they will do with some other gril if this remains unchecked. In that situaion, i will be responsible.”
This…she has not read in any book; this gril from a very poor family.
Does she not carrying the toruch of human evolution further.
Comapre yourself with this with the gullibility and over smartness of those who will use hair brush or the “Zen stick” for an instant awakening.

  207. Lokesh says:

I suddenly got it. Somewhere down the line these guys got the words meditation and medication mixed up. Now I understand. They are practicing medication.

  208. Lokesh says:

I am staying well away from Madame Shakti. Thanks to Shantam Prem’s questioning about the hair brush, Shakti says she will kick me in the balls next time I see her. What do you think I am doing hiding out in the highlands?

  209. shantam prem says:

Satya deva…it looks the time for retrospection.
I accept that the word Satsang in its deformed form has been used by me quite often and unappropriately too.
I also accept that Osho may be the super star; but he is not the only star. Osho may have song the most beautiful songs but it does not mean others should stop singing.
The Ocean just roles on, waves after waves.
Yet.. when we study something with scientific observation.. some discreation is needed… Every cough is not tuberclosis, every high tide is not Tsunami.

    So…

Osho has joined the club of Jesus and Buddha…the historcial figures.. showing their presence because of their followers.

  210. shantam prem says:

    “Lokesh:
I asked her if she would mind if I put this on Sannyasnews and she replied, ‘Not at all, I like to have this sort of thing out in the open.’
So, there you go, I’m not sure what to make of it. Perhaps someone would care to comment.

Lokesh for sake of psychology of human mind and more over psychology of the Blonde; can you explain the tunrover.

    SD:
Lovely story, Lokesh, a great laugh…And richly deserved by Clone r…

    But something tells me….”

Satya deva.. can you explain now what you are gut was telling?

  213. Chinmaya says:

    Satya Dev dear,

You have a great art to criticise each and everyone, except yourself, because you cannot see yourself and what you see in mirror that is not you, only reflection.
But I appreciate your knowledge, though higher percentage is liked by you and lower percentage is liked by others……All you want to fuck whosoever is coming in your way. Tum kabhi sudhdrege ya nahi.

I think, to be humorous, with jokes as our Master has always been, and appreciate the people of the Ultimate is a good idea, do you agree ?

Donot feel bad and sad and get anger, instead, just laugh for a minute, and make up your mind, not to reply to this letter, then, I will say, you are a refined enlightened soul………..otherwise, you are already an enlightened soul.

    Love

  214. Satya Deva says:

    My DEAR Chinwag,

    I suggest a sense-of-humour transplant for you, sir…

Either that, or re-read my post, and at least TRY to get the point…

    Here’s a tiny clue:
    ‘Seriousness is a disease’…

Now, even you should be able to get it…surely?!!

    Joke’s on you, dummy!!

Make that 4 active meditations a day (five at weekends), ok?!!

  215. shantam prem says:

Satya Deva, what is your insight about this hairbursh story.

  216. shantam prem says:

Well done Martyn…for a five star humour. Hairbrush chapter can be added in the new edition of

Satya Deva, what is your insight about this hairbursh story.

    SD:
SP, I trust Lokesh implicitly, he is a noble man of truth and a noble aspirant of The Truth…

However, this story does seem ‘rather odd’…

But then, so does Clone rajneesh!

Besdides, I so much WANT it to be true!!!

  219. Lokesh says:

And as Osho said during his ‘Tantra the Supreme Understanding’ discourses….’Blondes have more fun.’

Meanwhile I have tried out my Tantric Rajneesh Hairbrush (TRH for short). I feel like a fool. The damned thing’s made my tibura break out in a nasty rash. Don’t be conned like me. TRH is a BIG rip-off.

This comment was bounced off a sattelite orbiting Ben Nevis in Scotland. Osho said….’Be prepared, plan for a mirrorkill and he was right.’
What to do on a lonely night in the highlands. Nothing else for it but to give my TRH a second go. Hoots!

  220. Lokesh says:

SD…..Besides, I so much WANT it to be true!!!

    That is natural.

  221. frank says:

we must all remember those stories we have heard from our very childhood about “loony bins” being full of guys who were convinced that they were napoleon, jesus christ and other historical characters….
the same has clearly happened with rajneesh..
for, some years ago,i myself saw rajneesh looking very dishevelled and dressed in a crumpled kaftan in a london pub surrounded by hardcore irish boozers…
imagine my surprise when i read on our brian rajneesh`s bio on his site and discovered that this was at exactly the time he was in a cave in the himalays absorbed into the void in enlightened meditation……..!!

or maybe the doppelganger has his own doppelgangers, who can appear in more than one place at a time, lobsang rampa style……….

anyway,i expect you will soon be able to buy rajneesh wigs and baldpatches in joke shops before long….

remember the monty python alan wicker sketch…?.
could do a version of that with rajneeshes instead of wickers……..

most amazing of all,i once met somone who spoke very highly of his credentials…….
    shantam,
    check it out for youself….
    here`s the address….
    mandy,
    behind the pipes,third washroom along,kings cross station………

  222. Lokesh says:

<<<<<<Frank, in that London pub, you didn’t happen to notice a beautiful blonde in the background, with a big hairbrush in her hand…did you?

  223. Lokesh says:

Robin Brown, who has written three not bad on the road in India books, once told me an interesting story.
Back in the early sixties he claimed to have met Osho (then going by the name of Rajneesh) in Diptis milk shake bar in Mumbai’s Colaba. Osho asked him to send any western seekers his way as he needed disciples. When Robin told me this I wrote it off as provocative nonsense (20 years ago). Now I am a bit older and maybe a tiny bit wiser I am not so sure Robin made that story up.
Now we have a new Rajneesh, once spotted with Irish boozers. What exactly is wrong with Irish boozers. I’ve always found them quite a challenge.

  224. prem martyn says:

    frank……………………………………………………

may i remind you that this is a blog on Chinese publishing…….if you persist in being so flippant….
    then
anything you say here could be taken down and used in evidence against you……

and if you say ‘underpants’…..some us may well find that you are not the man you say you are….

If mandy is anything to go by she says You made her try to swallow your pride……and then failed to provide her with even a deposit for her services….

Frank…play ball and don’t stop shooting off with your hardened insights into what makes a religious seeker ‘come… yet again come’….
but remember its a risky business…..and her-pes of mind may well not be the same as yours…..you may well find yourself accused of a lack of feeling..legally known in the UK as a ‘stiff-up-her-lips..’.

Frank follow Lokesh and get a hold of yourself….

  225. prem martyn says:

    Ps … and hey there’s queue…

i dont think brian had a drink,he looked a bit on the edge already….

  229. frank says:

hangin `round the milk bars cruisin for disciples?
    why not….

  230. frank says:

    talking about publishing…
since reading martyns commentary on the sexcrazed shenanigans of poona 1,i must admit,i see the phrase “zen flesh, zen bones” in a new light!

and when are these unpublished classics coming out?

the tongue tip taste of teenage tao…
    birds i have loved…
    hammer in my rocks…
my way,the way of the white girls…
from sex to superconsciousness then back to sex…
    sufis,people of the punani….
    wank your way to god…
from meditation to medication,,or was it the other way round,oh whatever…..
    lick my love pump….
dont bite my dick, look where its pointing….
    carry on up the chakras…..
    and of course
turn on tune in and drop your pants

  231. prem martyn says:

frank …..thats it ….i’m going to have to go all pious on you now…..

  232. prem martyn says:

have you ever been pioussed on?

  233. prem martyn says:

    its ten ruppees extra….

cos i have to wash the stains out of my white robe after

  234. prem martyn says:

lokesh which mountain are you up…

  235. prem martyn says:

Shantam whats your recipe for a healthy spiritual life….
oh shit i didnt mean recipe….
    no please
    really
oh fuck ….not recipe i meant
    er
    menu…
    oh fuckkkkkkkkkkkkk

  236. Lokesh says:

Grampians. It is dark and there is something howling outside of the mountain bothy I am inhabiting just for one night.
So lonely…Where is that hairbrush….chug, chug, chug… And the wind cries Shakti.

  237. prem martyn says:

ahh well..obviously you take your work with you, into the deepest recesses of human endeavour and location

  238. prem martyn says:

    nite nite then…everyone…
what a spiritual day we all had….

  239. shantam prem says:

    Satya deva, you have written-
SP, I trust Lokesh implicitly, he is a noble man of truth and a noble aspirant of The Truth…
However, this story does seem ‘rather odd’…
But then, so does Clone rajneesh!
Besides, I so much WANT it to be true!!!

I think (feel), though there is not scientific study to prove this-
People who are seeking, in average are more truthful sincere and careful about their Karma compared to the people who think they have found it, call it sixth Chakra or seventh Chakra.
So with all the cultural, philosophical or theosophical differences i will trust more in the” facts” provided by you or Lokesh than the people in the Trade, few may even speak my language and like me, make all the Blah blah about Osho.

keeping in mind a young sannyasin woman´s dignity and name at stake…story may be all fictional,
but the fact and the mystery remains- Time and again, many men in the spiritual business have misused their trust in the participants by hand picking the best looking for the “Zen Stick.” These people for sure have got their momentary joy.. yet the women will live in the shame and guilt for many many years.
These women may even create stigma around their own physical beauty and few will definitely find it very difficult to Trust, even when the writing on the wall says, Trust.

  240. Lokesh says:

You are right. I put my trust in the four walls of a little house at the foot of a mountain and woke up this morning well rested and unharmed by whatever it was howling outside during the night. I suspect it was only the wind.
Yes, and amazingly it is a sunny morning without a hint of rain in the sky. Pack my rucksack and I should be on the peak of Lochnegar on the Mar Estate by midday.
No rest for the wicked. I’m leaving my jairbrush behind and turning over a new chapter in the life of my tibura.

  241. shantam prem says:

Funnily enough, not a single comment from the camp of Mr. Rajneesh, normally they never miss a chance to defend the reputation and esoteric prowess of New Dalai Lama from the mystery school of Osho.

    Hallo?????

Jab Pyar kiya to Darna kaya..Pyar kiya koi “CHORI” nahi ki..

  242. Lokesh says:

I just watched this daft video clip you posted, SP. Has this something to do with how you see yourself?
    The mountains beckon.

  243. jenny silkstone says:

Lokesh, pop into Islington on your way back to Ibiza, if you ever left it!

  244. frank says:

its not everyday you see an enlightened being in an irish pub with a hairbrush stuck up his arse…..

but, these are desperate unenlightned times my brothers, and desperate measures are needed….
gone are the days when when you could start up a world religion by just loafing about in milk bars….

its tough out there in kali yuga….

the beatles and the ronettes were fine in their day,but now its going more towards lady gaga and marilyn manson……

i reckon the time could be right for a hindu ozzy osbourne, biting the heads off some holy cows live on stage………

  245. frank says:

    btw,no wonder brian`s got a thing about “baboons”…
his arse must be as red as a baboon`s,
if shakti is to be believed….

  246. prem martyn says:

look into the whirling mandala of the windows media player…..

    relax

see the colours go all wobbly

    and breathe

    deeper

    now find the inner guide…
    breathe..deeply

and ask the question.. you have always wanted to ask on this your path,

    just breathe and listen

from your unconscious mind of truthful wonderfulment

you hear the words… and they say…..

    ………

they say……..the question we all want to know the answer to…….

    ……………… …….. ………”…….? ……….”’

    Do I….have….. to…. use ……a… hairbrush………or……will…. the vacuum nozzle…. work …..just….. as ….good….?

  247. frank says:

    seriously,though,
in this crisis age of ever lowering consciousness, drugs, phoney religion and rampant materialism,we really need some groundbreaking ideas to propell us to a new humanity.
for example,to brian rajneesh,i would suggest that,to really complete his “look”,he should shave the top of his head, leaving only the side bits.
.this, along with the purchase of a couple of old tea-cosies from a charity shop, will make his image complete.
i know for a fact that some russians, siberians, and koreans were a little concerned about this oversight, and would be keen to solve all their problems by dancing if this detail was cleared up….

also,it would mean that he would not need his hairbrush so much for grooming, thus liberating it for more essential usages on his bonobobackside…

    it`s got to be a win/win..,no?.

  248. Lokesh says:

You know, if I did not read Buddhist newsletters, new age books and magazines, and watch TV and read sannyasnews comments I would never have known we are living in the Kali Yuga. Yes, it is true. If I had not been informed I would have simply believed that it was a wonderful sunny day in the Scottish highlands and sitting on a moss-covered boulder looking at all this natural beauty surrounding me one could easily imagine life was purrrrrrfect! Why, I even have a Shaki hair brush and my tibura to play with.
But it is alas the time of rampant materialism, wherein cloned gurus pose as masters and the unenlightened forget the message and worship the creed. Aye, it is a sad story indeed. So I am off to the local pub in Braemar, capital of the royal highlands. And it is there that I will imbibe copious amounts of malt whisky and chat up lassies wearing nothing under their kilts but hair brushes. Hootz!
Never mind……the Kali Yoga will be over in 50,000 years and a new golden age will be ushered in.

  249. frank says:

    i knew it.
    “i`ll tell you this,boy..”
lokesh is rab c nesbitt`s long lost twin brother…

I agree Martyn, Comedy is a part of new religiousness. Has it originated from Britain and incorporated by Osho in His work, as always without aknowledging the copyrights?

I will be glad if you refer some comedy about the Sannyasins; Tradtional Hindu sannyasins or neo sannyasins.

Martyn and Lokesh, On this day 63 years ago, your ancestors left India in two pieces, but left English language as our survival angel in the world market.
not difficult to understand you and your allergy for everything religious, when your own country has become a slum of Indo Pakistan. These people will go on reminding, never invade other countries or cultures. Price is too heavy.

  260. prem martyn says:

shantam ….dont have have a glossy eyed view of the english….

the english are a very proletarian ratbag of a race with little culture if any… The english were pirates and killers marauders and invaders for last 500 years….the rag/bag british/english dominant culture is a complete arsehole of grossness and idiocy… generally with a low level even of aesthetics….
we do however play some tunes, have large music festivals and produce more comedy hours than any other country….as a substitute for the unlived passions of our repressed emotional lives unsponsored by either a strong femininity and a consequent lack of touchy feely intimacy..(ask english kids how many times their fathers and mothers hugged or kissed them). The english master race are generally beery ugly and vindictive…..and so fit comfortably with low level energies of other sub cultures.
One advantage of London is the mixed races… they tend to be more photogenic .Otherwise British women and men make the same offspring over and over again….Think of a public toilet and there you will find urban UK.
By the way the Bellamy’s people is a subtle but hilarious comedy series…its not a documentary !!!!..Shame you tube doesnt hold all the series
    try:this link…its a comedy sketch show ok?

Adil Ray stars as Guru Dev, Mr. Khan and MC Raa!

er thanks for your opinion about anti religion ….i’m a libertarian anarchist first and foremost…because i’m more interested in osho’s message of human interactions…
the cosmic bit and the satoris… are great … but they are wholly outside any talk of religion….and must not be packaged in any way…. or you’ll get diseases…psycho ones….We are fragile in that way….
and thats why osho calls us swamis… master of oneself…
shantam you get a lot of free education / emotions here and comedy… i hope you are grateful.so.if you are ….pass on the same to someone else .. but dont worry about me …. i’m just hangin’ loose

    Jago Sone walo…

The premire institution for inner awakening founded by OSHO needs attention, love, caring and a step from monarchy to meritocracy.
Marble and garanite it has enough.

“A MASTER IS ONE who can create devices for everybody. A master is one who has no fixed device.”

“You possess only that which you have given; you never possess that which you have hoarded — you become a master of something which you share. Share! unconditionally — because everything is going to be taken from you anyway; death is going to take everything from you.”

  262. Lokesh says:

‘Nationalism is the last refuge to which a scoundral turns.’

I love Scotland, but I have not lived here for 40 years. All this nationalistic crap Shantam is firing off is just that…..crap.
My ancestors! Man, you are really digging around in some dead zone. Don’t you know the past is a graveyard? The fact that you keep returning there suggests that you are a Preta (hungry ghost).
Currently there is a new super-bug in UK hospitals. It’s history shows that it was brought here by Indians and Pakistanis who came over here for free operations they would have had to pay a fortune for in the sub-continent.
The yoke of colonialism might have been broken in 47 but many of your countrymen still wear it gladly. Have you noticed anyone shitting in the streets of Freibourg recently, Shantam? By the way, how come you ain’t in India? Don’t tell me…..you are there for the cakes!

  263. shantam prem says:

Lokesh.. i am not speaking in nationalistic terms, was just reminding to see Indian Pakistan Ghetto around you in UK, and the corrupt social values my countrymen bring with. All these influences play a role to shape a opinion about all the stugh in the package of religion/religiousness.

Past is a graveyard..kind of sentences are used in the primary classes of spirituality, where a new master on the podium wants to white wash the old graffiti on the learners´s brain.
    Evolution is a continuity..

Think past as graveyard and nothing grows. Think continuity and one can see, I pod standing tall on the foundation built by Gramophone, Osho standing on the platform built by Buddha/Jesus.

During the alive period of Osho movement, almost every week we had the stand up comedy shows. Unfortunalely there were no mobiles with video facility, so all this teasure has been lost.

One would not have missed it that much if the continuity was there. The ashram jokes and skits on youtube, just like the punches of Bill Mahar.
When the movement goes into sleeping phase or may be in coma… the jokes stop, comedy stop…and this is almost like cholking Osho´s throat….

  268. Satya Deva says:

Re comedy, have you seen the film, ‘Life of Brian’, SP?

I wonder whether you Indians would appreciate the humour…

  269. Satya Deva says:

Btw, that’s surely why Frank calls the Clone ‘Brian’…

  270. shantam prem says:

I will find this movie, Life of Brian.
and if something fits with some character around Osho, it becomes even extra Scharf.

Satya Deva, above is the link to the Mandala website of a British sannyasin, she has got the doctorate degree from a prestigious university and worked as a journalist before going to Pune in early 90´s.
She has found her inner home and creativity around the Ashram, before it turned into Resort.
This i am telling because once i mentioned that you can ask the opinion of some very British sannyasins who have seen the working of Poona 2 (1987-1999).

because may be than it will be easy for you and others to undersatnd that it is not like asking Mom and dad to reunite after a bitter divorce.

Garimo, your post means much. It is not required that someone endorses all the contents of my writing, but about the comedy in the ashram, your post is a verification that what a five star stand up comedy was produced in the environment of meditation and love.
When i have seen the link of Billy Connolly, it was clear neither the performer nor the audience know more than their immediate environment, at alest in the matter of belief, trust, devotion or new kind of religiousity.

The fucking religions, fucking fucking fucking…i cannot remember how many times in 3.51 minutes this world was used….and here you have VHS video of 1989, the comedy act still makes you laugh till you have tears.

So man.. now we should find the possibility how this video of yours reaches the people through youtube.
Check in your town, how much it cost to turn VHS into a CD or pen drive. It should not be more than 30-50 Dollars.
The bloggers can share the cost.
Or send me the copy of your video and i ask some one to do this in friendly price, in that i take the expanses.

The mile stones of meditative creativity should not get lost.

YOu have written to me…at least you’ll have experimented more with the world as it is…..not as it should be…

More or less, i am contented with the world as it is.
Have you ever read any post form me, where i complain about environmental catastrophy or eating habits of people or moaning about 2012…. I am not one of those good smartian who perfoms.. female genital mutilation…(FGM) because they think it is the way woman SHOULD BE.
Was Osho born to fit into the mental image of UK/USA/CANADA?

I wonder when His beard will be shaved in the photoshop.

  278. prem martyn says:

    uhoo….
the word i used is experimented….( not contented…. thats yours)…..it means you invoke and provoke and do what is necessary to stop ‘acceptance’ becoming satisfaction…..

nobody can tell you that if you withdraw from sannyas you can be accused of withdrawing from ‘sannyas’…
    try it
    then belong again
    then withdraw… see what happens…
    experiment….

Mosques, churches and temples… The world as it is, the green earth among trillion of planets is dominated by these three super stores; M&S, Wall mart or Aldi for the inner material.

No doubt with education and prosperity, people feel the need to be free from mass mentality.
Osho was channelising this energy of, freedom from something into freedom for something.
It is a natural desire to be part of some bigger plan, some bigger belief. One needs to enter the train before one leaves. But in the inner journey, there are many people who say, ” why the people are standing in the Q for the ticket. iE don´t need any ticket any more.

  282. shantam prem says:

Train is always going somewhere and we are always changing the platofrms accordingly.
So.. if life gives a chance, i will not tell my people, ” Break the bridge (with dynamite), once you cross it. Change the path like railway platforms. Just don´t throw away the cigratte buds blindly. Chewngum and and the Paan Peak…NEVER.

Rememberd a joke. One British tourist comes to India after reading the ads. of, ” Incredible India.”

Other than pollution and unruled traffic, he finds nothing incredible. SO he hires Banta Singh for inside tips.
Banta takes him to Delhi Wrestling club. Some wrestler in the clothes minimum is doing push ups, ” Banta says, ” Look Sir, Incredible India. Fucking without woman.”

Than they go to Golden temple Amritsar. British gentleman felt attrcated to the long black haired figure taking bath in the temple pond. Banta senses this. Take the British for the frontal exposure. ” Look sir, Incredible India. woman without Boobs! ( long black haired figure is a sikh boy).
After that they go to Varanasi. and just on railway station a woman spits her Paan. ” Banta exclaims… Look Sir, so incredible. Menses through the mouth.”

  283. prem martyn says:

shantam you are very worried about the destination… and you talk of the map for the other people…

possibly your beginning place reflects your end place….they are the same in this now … so if the now is wobbling of course the future becomes wobbly and threatening…. so you want a map for ‘them.”then’

now ,tomorrow, you and them and it….. wow… and all i said was experiment…
with the world …to live your voice… and see if it gets a real response….
    magnets?? or opposition…???

you seem to be satisfied with the details of your daily life .by your own admission…..but diregard their intrinsic value.(dont pay attention to the cigarette butts)

    when you care you care…
    and you live it..
its not result oriented its just a compulsion of alertness

..meantime you are unhappy that your spiritual movement present isn’t equal to your associated memories and remembered past .. so your future will be even worse??…
    memory is like that…
its not to be avoided ….but you have to live the beauty of your memory now….can you?? how? sweetly intensely more than you ever did?
when one door closes another flings wide open….

    question?
.Its not because your daily life is currently unnourished by your identity of your awakening (spiritual past)….and that now you cant sort it all out…becos you dont have an internal compass? The one that worked , doesnt?
    thats understandable….
its part of someone close to you dying
    death is tricky …

when u feel u’ve lost and nothing makes sense….

you don’t have an unresolved parenting issue do you?

if you personalise your spirituality… it’ll be far more accessible to you…..and nothing will be lost from your awareness…
    how?
intensity… for all that osho ‘made’ ‘you’ feel and that you havent owned as your self…your rejected emotive/physical body holds the key
who in you recognises osho is osho…?WHO IS THAT?
.but you have to really be human first …not a disembodied indian spirit…

and whats stopping love is not unfulfilled love….but shame/guilt
and the belief that nobody is really good enough ..not even osho…actually cos he left a really incomprehensible mapless mess behind….so i want to trust trust….but its without guarantee…

dont go near a cliff edge…..

    without a map….

    really dont….

watch you tube…..it dissolves the map and the cliff

  300. shantam prem says:

Broadly speaking… when most of the sannyasins were busy in droping the mind, two mind sets have played prominent role in the world of Osho.

One have the tendency, to make hole in the plate, in which meal was taken
(Jis thali main khana.. usi main chedh karna)

Second type are the people, who eat in the silver plates, but to the guests offer paper plates.
(Meri thali chandi ki. tum lol paton ki)

So no wonder, enlighenment has reached home. Sharing, compassion, caring are lost on the way.

  301. shantam prem says:

This is for intelligent women and clever disciples-

Four friends spend weeks planning the perfect girls getaway trip shopping, casinos, massages, facials.

Two days before the group is to leave Mary’s husband puts his foot down and tells her she isn’t going..

Mary’s friends are very upset that she can’t go, but what can they do?

Two days later the three get to the hotel only to find Mary sitting in the bar drinking a glass of wine.

“Wow, how long you been here and how did you talk your husband into letting you go?”

“Well, I’ve been here since last night… Yesterday evening I was sitting on the couch and my husband came up behind me and put his hands over my eyes and said ‘Guess who’?”

I pulled his hands off to find all he was wearing was his birthday suit. He took my hand and led me to our bedroom. The room was scented with perfume, had two dozen candles and rose pedals all over…

On the bed, he had handcuffs and ropes! He told me to tie and cuff him to the bed, so I did. And then he said, “Now, you can do whatever you want.”

    So here I am!

Hindus are very rarely in the moment, as the present state of Indian affairs proves the point. still stuck after all of these thousands of years….. yet you criticize methodist and mormons, these are very new christian sects, still stupid and moronic, yet new, criticize your own please, you guys need all the help you can get to get out of that hole you’ve been digging for the last 5,000 years!!!

While watching this video, i thought about-Two ways of listening Osho-
Please try to visualise, Jesus has not died at 33. How he will speak, how he will look when he is 56 . For sure His accent will not be British or American.
or Buddha at the same age about 2565 years ago. Will he look like as in the statue. I am sure, there was no Gillete for such a smooth facia shave.

WIll not they look like Osho? Is it not a joy to see these two great path breakers in our time.

Another way is to look at Osho´s video as one sees millions of other videos. You tube is full.
Just imagine Osho is one of the motivational speaker.
Dr. Deepak Chopra or Dr. Rajneesh C. Mohan….!!!!

Yes, SP, it seems your agenda has little significant impact on here, so a turn on youtube would seem a good idea (from your point of view).

  311. shantam prem says:

SD, i will be fooler than what i am now, if my agenda is to impact few of you here. One can open a Tampons factory before the boys college but not the shop!

On the other side, clear cut criticism of the resort has compelled them to change their policies.
After many long years, they have created a Spring festival instead of Master´s day. In Decemebr one week before Osho´s birthday, there will be another edition, ” Winter Festival”
ANd any one with a little common sense knows that though there are only few journalists who write the articles but there facts must be based on people´s inspirations and hopes. The writers who sense the frustration of their people create the future, rest can live a comfortable life by singing songs for Monarchy.

And as far as mystical path is concerned result orientation has no significance. One has to respond to his/her unique inner voice.

  312. shantam prem says:

What baffles me sometime here about Lokesh and Satya Deva, what were the reasons for these two sincere and intelligent initiated disciples from Poona one days to get disillusioned from Osho than Bhagwan.
Was it the “flying in the holy air” kind of people around Him or was it the flamboyant attitude of Osho himself.
And what is the compelling reason that after more than two decades to get connected with His people on a public and open platform.

  313. shantam prem says:

This post is for Parmartha, the editor of Sannyasnews-

As one sees the articles of last one year or so, other than Shantam very few people have commissioned their article for sannyasnews.
Few threads were picked up from the circulatory mails, for example Krishan Prem. Few were acknowledged from Viha connection.
And it is clear, Shantam is just one face of vivid sannyas scene. People entuned with many softer aspects can also write and share their journey on this platform. “Only the singing was left”, was a fine piece by Rashid and wisely, comments were forbidden.

But it won´t happen that easily as it looks like. Why?

Because of the liberty taken by few faceless people, Who jump the level of discussion and criticism to sheer profanity and vulgarity.
Hiding behind the non decrepit names, these few can be like the highway robbers or like remorseless and pitiless mercenaries.
I think such people have simply misused the opportunity to share the thoughts without bringing oneself into the firing line.
So it looks like many tender hearted people will avoid to share their voice on the one and the only open sannyas platform because they will be hooted out by the loud.
A solution to this malice needs to be fined. Accountability is the key for all of us, who inhabitate the earth. Sannyasnews is no exception.

  314. Satya Deva says:

    Shantam Prem:
After many long years, they have created a Spring festival instead of Master´s day. In Decemebr one week before Osho´s birthday, there will be another edition, ” Winter Festival”

    SD:
These could simply be the result of a need to stimulate more visitors to the place, couldn’t it, SP?

IE economic rather than ‘Osho-spiritual community’ motives.

  315. Anand says:

Shantam, I agree with you whole heartedly. Everyone writing positive about Osho here gets wrestled down into the mud by some frustrated ex-sannyasins.

My guess about Lokesh is that he got disappointed of Osho, when he had to go to jail for carrying drugs across
international borders. He spent some time in jail and maybe thought Osho’s blessings missing. So here on this forum he can serve a few poisonous lines against Osho to bring Osho down.

Every now and then some more intelligent people show up here, but disappear quickly, since it fast becomes a lunatic circus out here.

Maybe somebody should start a similar blog site with people entering their full email addresses and photos.
But otherwise we have to accept that freedom of speech for everybody creates exactly this kind of forum.

  316. prem bubbie says:

Anand says:”Everyone writing positive about Osho gets wrestled down into the mud by… ex-sannyasins”. Anand, that’s a lot of horseshit and you know it!!! The people who write stupid, idiotic, superstitious mumblings, such as yourself get not only wrestled down but kicked in the ass for such postings… Shantam Pee Brain leads in such mumblings, anyone can read them… as for your own posts….. read them again and weep!!!

  317. prem bubbie says:

Yeah Anand, and what did you just post? Douche…..So you think you’re a great judge of character….. I think not… neither is Shantam P. A hindu fanatic from some of his own posts. So I dismiss yours and Shantam’s postings, not much one can learn from you two, other than how to spot raving lunatics and fanatics in less than a minute. P.S. Osho doesn’t need help with his defense, since he is dead…. Both of you sound like fanatical muslims or christians…. Getting ready to start a “Crusade” against the infidels?

  318. anugrah says:

Moonsoon festival name looks so cheap compare to MASTERS DAY CELEBRATION
name moonsoon festival shows budhafield has been reduced to bollywood

  319. Lokesh says:

It has been a little while since I noted something worth commenting on, but today I see a couple of things worthy of comment.
Shantam Prem, you say, Because of the liberty taken by few faceless people etc.
One thing I appreciate on this blog is that people are allowed to say whatever they wish….such is the face of democracy. I think this is a good thing, no matter if some abuse this freedom by profanity etc…it is cool with me because it is the freedom of speech that counts.
Now we have SP complaining about this. He of all people. I say this because SP has not learnt that less is more and therefore needs to use long paragraphs of uninspiring nonsense to convey what an intelligent person would convey with a simple sentence. Oh. yes, I know that SP is a hearty fellow but his incoherant babble is at times off-putting and therefore he is one of the last who should be finger-pointing and voicing comments like this….’So it looks like many tender hearted people will avoid to share .’ Perhaps, but what SP fails to see is that his need to bombard with an endless stream of verbal outpourings might scare the tender-hearted away also.
Anyway, if left to yourselves what do you catholic sannyasins want to do with this site…write stuff about how connected you are to Osho and how he is the master of masters………yawn! How very limited and boring.
Which brings us to personalities like Bubbie. Rather than crying foul you lot should say thanks to him. He is the cat among the chickens. He is the devil’s advocate. He is the one you fools love to hate. Unity in the face of adversity and Bubbie is smart enough not to take any of your comments seriously. A more that is a lot closer to the original sannyasin creed than much of what you conservatives are spouting. You can all learn something from Bubbie on that level, but you won’t. Why? Because you are stuck in self-righteousness and therfore blinded by it.

  320. Dilruba says:

To All who write & the ones who only read ..This site is perhaps .. the only site where all of us … new / old / sub ( disciple of disciple) / ex / super / whatever sanyassin … get a space to express .. so it means .. whatever is said / unsaid here .. we are all free to express … and if there is censorship .. the existantiality of such a platform will be lost

  321. Satya Deva says:

    anugrah

Moonsoon festival name looks so cheap compare to MASTERS DAY CELEBRATION
name moonsoon festival shows budhafield has been reduced to bollywood

    SD:
Not really, anugrah, it’s a name that’s appropriate for a holiday resort, which is what the place is, isn’t it?!

Rather difficult for a “buddhafield” to exist without a living buddha…I’d say, virtually impossible, esp now, 20 years after the buddha in question ‘disappeared’…

But that’s the whole argument here, I guess – between conservatives such as yourself (who, no doubt, think of yourselves as ‘radicals’!!) and the ‘extremely sensible party’, who, in our obviously superior wisdom, know exactly where it’s all at…

  322. chetna says:

“Rather difficult for a “buddhafield” to exist without a living buddha…I’d say, virtually impossible, esp now, 20 years after the buddha in question ‘disappeared’…”

I think we comment about things which are beyond our knowing.

So here I am in the same game:
I have heard from Osho that the place where the enlnt one lived and died (samadhi) will help seekers for another 500 years. The Buddhafield is going to be there.

But the space needs to be cared for and respected (not necessarily worshipped, like Indians would have liked).

So if we look at Osho’s work-books, recordings and the Buddhfield were crated not only for those hippies, but for many more who would come.

In fact, I feel a lot of energy and meditative support and love in Buddha’s places or any other places of enlnd ones.

Poona is not an exception. I breathe Osho there….

The resort is idiotic in my view, cause only idiots will come to India for the swimming pool…..

  323. Lokesh says:

Anand you say: My guess about Lokesh is etc.
Well at least you have the decency to admit that you are guessing and even though you are way off target I find your comment of interest, if for no other reason than it showing a lot about who you are.
Just for the record, I don’t feel frustrated and neither do I see myself as an ex-sannyasin….in fact, I am not even clear about how one would define an ex-sannyasin.
I’m not exactly sure what poisonous lines you are referring to but just for the record let me reiterrate. I spent six years in Poona One and remember Osho as a great spiritual friend who taught me much about life and helped me develop into the kind of man I am today. The kind of man I am is the kind that is mature enough to hold a warts an’ all vision of Osho. Osho was human, he was a man, and it is human to err and Osho made plenty of mistakes. This did not stop me loving him.
It may be the case that fundamentalist sannyasins feel threatened by people such as myself. Why? Because I’ve moved on from a mind set that envisions Osho as the be all and end all as far as Indian gurus go. Is there life after Osho? The good news is a wholehearted YES! Osho was a signpost in my life, the proverbial finger pointing at the moon. Such a charming, eloquent, intelligent, outrageous, humourous finger, no wonder so many become attracted and attached to it.
Personally I would feel that I would be dishonouring Osho by not voicing my comments, by not being who I am, by not learning from the other enlightened men I met after those wonderful years with Osho.
I have spent forty years in the pursuit of a coherant truth about the nature of the enlightened condition and if there is one thing I have found out about the nature of truth it is this. You will never find liberation with the herd. Freedom belongs to those who have the guts and determination to scale the peaks and plumb the valleys alone.
Therefore you sheep do well to fear the likes of me and quiver in your wooly socks when you hear my roar of independence. I know it for once upon a time I was like you, but no more. And you do fear the truth of what I say. How do I know that? I know that because you are defensive and mark my words well. Whenever the need to defend arises you can rest assured that the ego is at play. No ego…no need to defend because of identification with this or that.
In many ways a lot of you self – righteous catholic sannyasins have become the antithesis of what sannyas was founded on. Nothing new there. Osho told us this was what would happened when he left………the church and priests would move in……..and he was right.

  324. Satya Deva says:

    Anand:

Shantam, I agree with you whole heartedly. Everyone writing positive about Osho here gets wrestled down into the mud by some frustrated ex-sannyasins.

Every now and then some more intelligent people show up here, but disappear quickly, since it fast becomes a lunatic circus out here.

    SD:
First, “everyone” who writes positively here about Osho does not get dragged down, this comment is simply wrong and betrays a certain touchiness often found in those who aren’t completely sure of their ground (in contrast to how they like to appear and how they believe themselves to be.

I think you’ll find that those who you condemn as would-be ‘destroyers’ are not so much criticising Osho as others’ (such as yourself) versions, beliefs, concepts of Osho.

Believe it or not, the two are not necessarily the same.

However, it’s also the case that, however wonderful and utterly master-ful he was, Osho self-evidently made mistakes and is therefore not immune to criticism.

Although, by your second paragraph (above), Anand, it would seem you are clearly persuaded that anyone who ‘dares’ to criticise, ie who has a different view to yours, is, by definition, unintelligent.

Which sounds very much like the traditional, blinkered, fixed position of the ‘dyed-in-the-wool’ devotee (or fanatic)…

Perhaps, “My Master – right or wrong” might not be too far from “My country – right or wrong”?

    Similar self-righteous lack of, er…intelligence!

  325. Lokesh says:

Satya Deva, we are definitely attuned. It would be good if we had a way to contact each other, just in case our physical orbits cross and we could meet up and have a wee chat.

  326. Alok john says:

Ten years ago there would have been a dozen responses if sannyas news was lucky

This is a nice quote from Sermons in Stones, chapter 12

“All the masters in the past had to face it. They are always ahead of
their time. It seems to be something in the very nature of life, that the people who are going to be decisive about human consciousness will always come ahead of their time—because it takes one hundred
years, two hundred years for people to understand them. If they come in their own time, then by the time people have understood them, they will be out of date. They have to be ahead of their time so that by the
time human mind, human consciousness reaches the point where they can be understood, their message will be available.

So the greatest work for sannyasins is to keep the message pure, unpolluted by you or by others—and wait.

The future is bound to be more receptive, more welcoming. We may not be here but we can manage to change the consciousness for centuries to come. And my interest is not only in this humanity; my interest is in humanity as such.

Keep the message pure, twenty-four carat gold. And soon those people will be coming for whom you have made a temple—although it is sad when you are making the temple; nobody comes. And when people start coming, you will not be here. But one has to understand one thing: we are part of a flowing river of consciousness.

You may not be here in this form, you may be here in another form, but keep it in mind never to ask such a question that I should be more acceptable, more respectable, more in agreement with the masses. I
    cannot be.”

  327. Lokesh says:

Alok John: That is the spirit and it addresses something that I’ve been pointing out a couple of times to sannyasins who feel it is their duty to uphold Osho’s respectable reputation. Now that really is a joke… Osho was the ultimate embodiment of the rebel… he even rebeled against his disciples….what a man!

Father : l woud like u to read the bible and have a haircut before u start to drive my car …
Son : ( after few days ) so father .. can l use the car now ? l have read the bible ..
Father: what about ur haircut ?

The ASS LICKER Boobie( everybody knows the choice of Sir Elton John but i will never use this adjective for him), has again duck the question about his dumb identity.
Does he has only the fingers to type on the key board, no face..
Point is democracy allows the freedom of speech and expression but this flourishes only when people stand with their rhetoric, take the responsibility of their expressions and thoughts and are ready to face defamation suit too, if needed.
Faceless mercenaries belong to Taliban age.
I have no problem with the abuses, i know, i will do justice with this aspect too.
So Lokesh, when you have praise for your comrade, tell us some biographical aspect of him or of Martyn.
Have you seen anyone of them on facebook or any where else.

Deep down cowards are afraid someone can come and punch their fucking face. But dearies, you can go to police to complaint?
Police…!!!.. The dogs will start barking over the bullies..

  330. shantam prem says:

To add photos facility can be too expansive a project for the sannyasnews, but the verified e mail address of the writers is a must.

Chetna, in your above post, the bracketed sentence in the paragraph needs to be discussed and clarified-

But the space needs to be cared for and respected (not necessarily worshipped, like Indians would have liked).

It is one of the myth propagated by the invaders of the ashram, that Indians will start worshiping Osho and the Buddha Hall or the Samadhi…

It is as bogus as the weapons of mass destruction though because of the personality Saddam Hussein was, it was easier to believe.

It is also a fact, my countrymen are worshiper type, same can be said about many of Latin American folks. Without The state´s pressure, many in Russia or China will also do. Worshiping Jesus or Buddha.
I don´t treat this aspect as bad. Just because few things are not in tune with the western Europe´s fashion trends. feminine cultures tend to feel solace in worshiping, beleiving.
One can judge oneself, whether Potato’s are feminine or the Tomatoes.
But with Osho.. this worshiping thing has not happened and will not happen.
Do you think in OshoDham Delhi or in Osho Tapoban or in Osho Nisarga, the centres developed by Indians are worshiping Osho.
Same is about hundreds of small meditation centres all over the country.

Yes..bowing down, touching the feet of elders is part of Indian culture. I will not expect my western European children to follow my way…but yes.. this much awareness; not to judge the others by labeling them inferior.

I hope you have seen yourself, in any Osho meditation activity in the west too, people simply bow down after Kundalini or when Osho comes on the TV screen…
Just a sweet expression which nourishes the doer…..but No…. this trend has been discouraged in Poona. During the evening meeting.. people sit as if they are watching a Movie…and results are clear.
Check the faces of long term Ashram People…in general, their faces have lost the shine, softness is miles away, wrinkles on the face don´t tell a story any more.

  331. shantam prem says:

  332. shantam prem says:

Lokesh, Nobody doubts your sincerety and search for 40 years.
But one thing you have not learnt yet and that is..
Ex. husband may have the fond memories with the wife of that time, she may be even the best friend now
…but must not sniff her panties any more.

    Verstanden??

  333. Satya Deva says:

Are you suggesting then, SP, that such “sniffing” is habitual among “husbands”?!!

    I somehow doubt that’s the case…

But maybe you know a few things I don’t…

On balance though, I’ll give you only 2/10 for a poor choice of metaphor (and that’s being generous).

    Better luck next time….

  334. Satya Deva says:

Lokesh, I’ m based in London (Camden Town), although I’m in sw France fairly often as well…

I’m a bit reluctant to give out an email address – but here’s one:

OK SD, if i turn the husbad with Lover”, how much meatphor will fit with the ex.beloved?

From my side, i can say.. if She is wearing comfy stuff, one does not care, but if 100 Euros she has spend for few cms..it is ungentlemanly..not to sniff…

  336. Lokesh says:

Shantam Prem, you are steering a very eratic course.
On one hand you say this: Who jump the level of discussion and criticism to sheer profanity and vulgarity.
And on the other you say this: come and punch their fucking face.
It is difficult to make sense of such a swing in a person’s pendulum, other than to say you sound confused. Please don’t try and defend your writings by saying that you are being taken out of context…….these are your words and not mine and they are in a contextual framework.

I did not say Bubbie is my comrade. I can’t be bothered covering the same ground but I can be bothered telling you that it seems to me that at times the only sound that you seem to be interested in is your own voice. You would to well to learn how to listen instead of blabbering so much.

  337. prem bubbie says:

Shantam’s mask of humbleness and modesty has been removed., yet again. He’s pissed at those who have removed it!!! You try to divert attention by claiming we insult Osho and insult those who speak highly of him… Just a smoke screen because you have no response to our unmasking of the hypocrite Shantam Pee.. BY your own words!!!! I notice this is a repeating pattern for you guys– Shantam and Anand and several others…. Almost every month you try to pull a fast one with your righteous and holier than thou postings… Not much intelligence from you, nor do I expect any. BTW- The use of profanity is NOT abuse of freedom of speech… Just adds color and spice… but puritans are so bland to big with they won’t know spice if a hot chilli sat on their tongue. As for posting a photo just to satisfy some stooge, you can wait another 5,000 years shantam P. the hindu fanatic!!

  338. Lokesh says:

Ha ha ha….Bubbie right on the button with that one. Keep up the good work. We need a good shit-stirrer round here because these poor chappies are full of it.
Phew! What a guff…smells like a sewage treatment plant. Or is just India?

  339. shantam prem says:

Yes.. my words are taken out of context. You Lokesh, has the problem, not to see something else other than your own grandiose image.
So i explain again it in a normal language.
I have no problem to react with the abusive language, but i will not start my dialogue, my discussion with profanities. It is like non violent India having the atomic bomb. As the character of the nation shows.. India will be the last to use it. World community is not sure about Iran Or Pakistan. So if these two countries create mischievousness…Israel will react more strongly than my mellow India.

But for many other people, this abusive language is a turn off. Just Imagine, Turiya wants to write a piece about her group called, “Path of Love”, because of the nature of the thing, she will not chose sannyasnews.
Many people avoid the street, when dogs behind the green fence always bark.
Same is about Swami Arun, or many others. His disciples may write something but Arun himself will avoid for the similar reasons.

Yet.. for discussion sake, we accept, the democratic write of free expression…than at least this much sense and dignity these people must show, to reveal their identity, when they think they are sharing in a smarter and wiser way.
I was pointing towards their fear of backlash in their own language, by saying slap on the fucking face.

  340. shantam prem says:

don´t post your shity face for the next 5000 years, but the day is not far away when editor of this site reveal e mails of the writers.
The ass licker coward like you is already rasing the tempreture in Lokesh´s tambura!

Ps–free suggestion. if the e mail are added as proof of identity, you can create fcititous names. Any way, this much important your writing is not that people need to write obitury after your demise in the next few thousand years.

  341. shantam prem says:

If life allows, i wish to submit a new thread to the editor..
    Defination Of Ex.sannyasins?

  342. Satya Deva says:

From my side, i can say.. if She is wearing comfy stuff, one does not care, but if 100 Euros she has spend for few cms..it is ungentlemanly..not to sniff…

    SD:
Frankly, SP, it makes no difference at all!

Perhaps you move among ‘rarified’ circles; but as I said, I hardly think such habits are par for he course…

Still, each to their own, I guess…

And judging by the tone and content of your latest contributions you might be well advised to start sniffing around your own ‘emanations’…!

  343. Satya Deva says:

    Shantam Prem:
But for many other people, this abusive language is a turn off.

    SD:
For many other people (I believe), your very own over-lengthy, over-embroidered outpourings are a similar turn-off.

So, maybe we should all just vacate this place and leave it to the ‘very nice’ folks…?!

  344. Forest Gump says:

    Lokesh,

Your opinions about Osho, spirituality and in general indicate that you have developed certain understanding just like Ron Hubbard did with human mind and psychology and then created religion out of it and called as Scientology and his places are called as “Church of Scientology”.

Here are Osho words on Ron Hubbard:

Hubbard’s work is very ordinary; it should be part
of the psychological literature. But in the West
people have forgotten completely what spirituality is
all about; hence it is very easy to deceive. And I am
not saying that Hubbard is deceiving others – he
may be deceived himself. He has a clear mind and
his processes are good as far as clearance of the
mind is concerned, but it is not spiritual work. It
cannot take you to the eternal and it cannot make
you aware of your innermost core.

It keeps you identified with the mind, and the more
mind becomes clear and beautiful, the more you
become attached to it because the more precious it
looks. And when it starts giving you visions and
spiritual experiences, then it becomes absolutely
impossible to drop it. It is easier to drop an unclear,
confused mind; it is difficult to drop a clear mind…

    SD:
You speak as if this is indisputable fact, SP.

So my question is: Where are your sources? (Full email addresses, please, of course. Plus photos, if possible°.

Unless, of course, you are indulging in mere speculation…

    No, surely not….

  346. shantam prem says:

No No Satya Deva you don´t need to vacate this place.
Just bring your wife´s site, ” Success with stress” as a thread rather than a small notice on the board.
Let readers around the world get acquainted with the site and the person behind this venture. Point

  347. Satya Deva says:

Re this latest post of yours above, FG, well, I’m afraid it only shows just how little understanding you have of what is and is not ‘spiritual’!

That has to be a classic example of misusing an Osho quote – to serve your own ignorance.

You have made a major error, but unfortunately you only have yourself to blame.

    SD:
Doesn’t seem quite appropriate somehow, SP, self-help approaches to stress relief being very much in the realm of ‘therapy’, rather than Osho-related meditation/spirituality.

(Although Osho does have a place at her enterprise).

    Anyway, she appreciates your thoughts….

  349. Forest Gump says:

Gumpy, just yesterday, i have seen the flier of Dianetics, L. ron Hubbard´s book in my post box. Every few months someone from His school distributes these fliers, so that people develop brain power like Einstein.
People have the right, and it is good that the whole world is not listening Osho, because His own patients also are not looking cured enough.

But this is unprecedented how the ex disciples of Osho treat His stature. i want to read one sentence from any of the ex disciples of any Master… throwing their mind shit with their childish attitude.

  353. Forest Gump says:

    Shantam,

Yep, they are very aggressive about their marketing and to sell out their solutions to improve mental health and overall life style. Tom Cruise, John Travolta and many rich followers contribute to funding in the regime. Yet Ron Hubbard remains controversial figure against the Christianity.

  354. shantam prem says:

Do they have also discussion and chat rooms, and Boobies and Martyn or some wise guy telling the recruits to walk their walk, to be free from the ghost of dead Hubbard.
After all, Scientology sect is predominantally white.
Thanks heaven, in this case, Indians are not getting the blame for worshiping the dead.

After thought…one of my best friend Late Dr. S.C. Sood was the first Indian to bring Scientology to India. Son of a renowned ENT specialist, in 1970´s he went to London for his higher education in Medicine and came back home with the photos and literature of L.Ron Hubbard.
With him i have done few exercises in clearing the locks and very famous ARC techniques. ARC means affinity, reality and communication.
No need to say, as a movement we are lacking this aspect.

Aggresive moucho clowns with little dicks, using the site to dump adolescent shit.
And last but not least some pretty smart people who I think I might enjoy to spar with.

Forest Rump are attempting to redirect the discussion, rather lamely, to L. Ron Hubbard. Straight from outer space, too!!! You guys definitely grew up on Mars, maybe excess nitrous oxide inhalation? That’s Martian air for you…. Physicist Stephen Hawking was right, aliens have invaded the earth and are in the process of a take over…… Terrible disguises though, masquerading as “Sannayasins”!!!

  357. Lokesh says:

    GREETINGS FROM ALIEN COUNSEL!

ALL aliens in human form currently residing on planet Earth are having problems dealing with a myriad of mundane activities which they focus too much of their energies on, instead of working on discovering their REAL Purpose for being here!

Virtually all aliens in human form frequently feel like they do not belong anywhere, and cannot settle in to a comfortable niche. Many aliens are having problems with their financial, emotional, or physical well-being. Some are constantly dealing with extremely difficult and severe circumstances in ALL THREE of these major areas!

If you have been repeatedly subjected to the aforementioned tribulations, and have also felt that from time to time there is more than a remote possibility that YOU could be an alien, I can help you find the answers you are looking for, as I have discovered over the past several years through vivid dreams in which I was frequently visited by aliens who have been watching over and guiding me to this stage in my own personal evolution, that I am one of those aliens who was sent here to learn how to cope with the day-to-day existense on Earth, as experienced through the human form.

It took me a while to try to understand, accept, and ultimately embrace my alien heritage, as it all seemed too much to comprehend during my initial indoctrination!

There is nothing wrong with feeling as though you do not “belong” here, especially because most of you do NOT! Many of you may feel like you do not have ANY friends who you can really trust and rely on, and at times, may also feel rejected and ignored by your family, and that in some weird and inexplicable way, you just know that you do not seem to “fit in” to their preconceived notions of who YOU should be and what you should be doing with your life! This can be a frightening revelation!

If you have been experiencing most, if not all, of these setbacks and obstacles, and cannot seem to find ANY conventional answers to your dilemma, then perhaps now is the perfect time for you to seriously consider an alternative point of view that you could be either an alien or a star dweller brought here to learn how to live!

I can help you to understand and accept who you truly are and gradually learn to make the most out of the life that you have been given, regardless of the severity of your current situation!

Many of you were sent here from your respective planet or star system to learn specific lessons which are critically important to the successful completion of your mission before you will be granted the High privilege to ascend back to your home!

Once I have general background information about your past experiences and present circumstances, I can explain in detail, what planet or star system you
are from, and tell you exactly what you are supposed to be doing in order to successfully complete your mission and return to your planet!

This service to others is part of my own mission this last time around…to help weary aliens and star travelers open up to the hidden mastery which has been lying dormant, deep within their soul atoms for untold millenia. For many aliens and star dwellers, their refusal to evolve is the primary reason why they are still here!

I am Alien Counsel. I have been educated on Earth with a doctoral degree in psychology, although from an alien perspective, ALL degrees are nothing more than pieces of paper! They do not have any Higher intrinsic value insofar as soul evolution is concerned, and oftentimes, actually hinder soul growth, because the human ego intellect distorts Truth and Light with its trite “logic” and “reason”!

All alien life-forms are not as bad or evil as portrayed in virtually ALL alien movies! With the exception of “E.T.” and “Cocoon”, all other movies paint a very frightening picture of aliens, which is simply not true. Similar to the human race, there are certain alien races which are benevolent, and others which still choose to walk on the dark side. Humans have known since the beginning of time that aliens have existed, but they would much rather delude themselves that ALL aliens are “negative” beings, because they cannot comprehend their Higher intelligence and perception!

I am sure that many of you have felt from time to time that you are being stifled, and also feel that you cannot tell most people what your true feelings are about yourself! I counsel alien souls who are here on Earth to try and help them to learn how to fit in to society on this planet, amidst great suffering and disappointment.

My goal with this site is to ultimately create a “safe haven” for ALL aliens and star travelers who “walk in the Light” to feel comfortable enough to openly discuss their true feelings about their existence and what they hope to gain from their journey.

Depending on what part of the galaxy you are from, you could experience intense periods of violence, destruction, loneliness or feelings of terror! You may have also experienced “flashbacks” that you do not understand, which may frighten you, especially when you are alone!

I can help you to understand these conflicting emotions and images so you can learn to release the anxiety surrounding them and be at peace with yourself and others, which for many of you, would result in far less self-destructive behavior! IF you continue to harm either yourself or others in the process of soul denial, you will continue to be sent back to Earth again and again…however long it may take for you to learn.

Let me assist you with the completion of your lessons this time around, so you can return to your Home with your mission accomplished and your heart filled with Light!

I’ll bet none of you guessed that Lokesh is a secret alien agent, now did you?

You will find them bitching about Osho and his Sannyasins and shagging at the same time. A scene to watch!!! Story may be covered at Sannays news.

  369. Forest Gump says:

  370. prem bubbie says:

an outside observer can easily see, after reading the above gibberish and insane postings, how sannyasins themselves destroyed Osho’s teachings, visions, communes and ashrams. Shantam Pee, Rajneesh, Forest dumpster-diver, Anand, et.al, the “polly wanna cracker” crowd. Neo-fundamentalists, fascists, monarchists, buffoons, stooges, imbeciles, chooches, cabrones, and just plain neo-sannyasin thugs!!! The kind that rants against foul mouthed, rude, and insulting individuals, turn around and become the same, as per above posts of Forest D. and Shantam PEE. Sorry, Forest, homophobia is no longer en vogue, you’re stuck in 1987, when sannyasins of that era took up the homophobic flag after some disparaging remarks made by Osho about gays. Sannyasins then couldn’t get past those remarks and think for themselves… And THE TRADITION STILL CONTINUES!!

  371. prem bubbie says:

Now you try to throw “You must be gay” because I see past homophobia and other phobias. Typical mental midget Forest. And you meditate? Call yourself a sannyasin? LEADHEAD

  372. Forest Gump says:

My work is complete as far as I am concerned. If I am carrying this physical body it is just for you… Someday it has to be dropped. Before it happens you must be ready to work in my absence, or in my non-physical presence – which means the same. And once you can feel me in my absence, you are free of me. And then, even if I am not here in this body, the contact will not be lost” – OSHO

Your point is redundant, a waste of time and space, SP, because, as I’ve already pointed out, SNews topic threads is not the place for virtual advertisements for self-help stress relief therapy techniques.

You’d clearly just love that sort of thing to happen so that you could feel, in your own mind, ‘conclusively’ justified at your low opinion of my “buddies” here, would you not?

But you’re barking up the wrong tree and besides, I reckon you do your ‘enemies’ here an injustice if you imagine them to be intent on destroying anything and everything, anyone and everyone who comes along.

You just don’t like being criticised, that’s all. Very simple really!

  378. shantam prem says:

Criticism is one of the most intelligent thing. To criticise and to be criticised is a process of democratic structure. It shines when people have done their home work, they are up to date with their subject and are smart enough to offer better solutions.

Now the above paragraph is written in a spontaneous way, has not been stolen from some where and the metaphor is also mine.

It won´t affect my equilibrium to be branded as Appalling racism, but shows much about your selective mind.

On the other side, you are supporting my connotation indirectly as i have written about some kind of identity check . Without this it is the writer´s prerogative to chose the way words picture suggests.
For example Bubbie will not reveal his face for 5000 years, than it gives liberty to people to think, does Bubbie is on the reward list of FBI?

When the popular media shows its fixation on Sex about Osho and his work, it is understandable. One can laugh on the way to God.
But it shows pathetic mind when ex. sannyasins of Poona one generation are unable to look at the complete picture.
May be they want to create an alibi for their exist from the disciple hood of Osho.
As i remember during the last year of His life, Osho´s mention about sex guru was making the gathering laugh. He has even heard saying, ” my people are the most asexual people on the planet”.
May be the ex. sannyasins did not listen this talk.

How they can, when they were busy to translate the Gospels rendered in Tamil, Telugu or Malayalam into their English.

  385. shantam prem says:

Do my writing giving the impression that Osho is the top Master of the world and his disciples are the chosen few, who will inherit the kingdom of godliness.

If it is so, let me clarify my humble opinion, it can be miles away from the truth.

I have heard hundreds of times during His life time, such sayings-Master of the Masters or the greatest peak after Gautama the Budhha, which happens every 2500 years.
I was looking back in me. Was not chanting such things neither was skeptical. Some time, i was even smiling in me, if this is true, i want to be enlightened 2500 years after Jesus, as His is the biggest and the most influential religion.
Till now, i treat such sayings only as emotional adjectives, which have also lost relevance because of the conflict of interests of disciples.

Yes..on the other side, i bow down every time i listen Osho. His thousands of talks, does not matter how many times one could hear; they open some thing inside, like a rechargeable torch on an unknown Teriann.

In Pune, just in Koregaon Park, the area of Osho´s abode, hardly a single resident of that area was interested in Osho. Our flat owners, rickshaw drivers, Ayas, grocery store or restaurant, owner, it was like unity in diversity.
If one gives the feeling to others as if they are Kafir, this harmony is not possible.

The Mahatma Gandhi of Britain, Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr. Rowan Williams has already proposed Sharia laws for these God feary people.

Millions of people in flood, most of them innocent beings brainwashed by Mullahs are bearing the brunt of nature and corrupt Political elites.

I think it is the fundamental right of Post Osho´s body era sannyasins to have the battery reinstalled in that clock of the mystery school.

Lokesh and Fart Brain Bubbie: very touchy response by both of you when I stinged you a little bit. I would say
‘Full Ego response’ from the enlightened non-ego fraction.

It will not help you though, you write yourself, Osho was a sign post and you moved on…. some greener pastures
maybe. Why not acknowledge the whole sannyas story is history for you now and you just spend some time here with your former name ‘Lokesh’ for some intellectual pursuit, since it gives you a great and superior feeling to tech those ‘catholic sannyasins’ a lesson of how far we are behind….
Your spiritual ego stinks as far as Costa Rica or is the
    oil spill?
No more words about brain dead Bubbie, who got stuck in 1986 on the ranch and is still living on a cottage on Big Muddy Ranch sharing Christian values.

I found this Internet Cafe here on Costa Rica, so I occasionally drop in for my evening entertainment.

  393. Lokesh says:

    ZZZZZZZZZZZZZ………!

  394. prem bubbie says:

Anand, still up to his old tricks telling us that we’re stuck in the 70′s and 80′s… let’s see… Aren’t you the one recently bragging about the good old days of Pune 1? Your connections at the ashram gate? the good ole’ boys you knew back in ’76 Pune moving pot? I can dig up some more of you sentimental bullshit if you want…. I wonder if it’s Shantam or Forest posting and using his name, the smell is the same…. Dog Shit!!!

  395. prem bubbie says:

On the hunt for slave labor again A.Anand?

  396. Lokesh says:

Anand, I have many gay friends. It is therefore that I now realize where you are coming from. Although often witty, charming, sharp and perceptive my gay friends have one other characteristic in common and that is a certain kind of bitchyness. It is the same kind of bitchyness that permeates much of your comments. My advice is that you stand up for yourself anf declare your homosexuality to the world. I don’t think that anyone on this site will get on your case about it and most of Osho’s negative comments about homosexuality have been erased forever.
I realise that this is obviously a big and sensitive issue for you and you’ll probably react by declaring that you are not a homosexual. I understand, Anand. The thing is, repression is not the sannyasin way and by suppressing your true nature your mind is becoming twisted.
It is time for you to stand up and declare that you are a homosexual. You have my full support. Love

  397. shantam prem says:

“To be close to a master is death, your ego will have to go. The ego thinks, starts thinking, “I must escape before something happens; before I am lost, I must escape.” The ego will continuously tell you to escape. The ego will find rationalizations; it will find faults in me just to help you escape; it will convince you in every way that this is the wrong man. Love is deathlike, and no love is as deathlike as loving a master” Osho

    and this is also OSHO

“If someone is eager to be a guru and if someone is eager to get a guru, this state of dependency can happen. So do not make the mistake of becoming a disciple or making somebody your guru. But if there is no question of a guru or a disciple, there is no fear of dependency. Then the person from whom you are taking help is simply a part of your own self that has traveled ahead on the path. Then who is the guru and who is the disciple.”

No contradicitons..just explaing the life in its full form, the full moon or no moon, and in between.

  398. Anand says:

Interesting..now I am a homosexual catholic pot moving sannyasin with connections at the ashram gate, looking for slave labor in Costa Rica.
Great guys….. you figured it out. I give up… never had so much fun.

You are close to the truth. I reality I am setting up a new commune in Costa Rica for homosexual closet sannysins.
Looking for a job Bubbie? And maybe Prem Luke can fly over and write a story about it? Free food and accomodation included.

    Love you guys.

  399. Anand says:

There is a moment of being where every moment is living in absolute bliss…OSHO

  400. Satya Deva says:

    Just curious, Anand:

Have you actually been based in Poona the last 36 years?!

  401. prem bubbie says:

Anand= The sound of one ass cheek farting.
